http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=139077 This thread reminded me about how Schaub vs. Rosenfels was once a viable discussion topic. I can't really understand why anybody wouldn't want Sage based on what he was able to accomplish here in the past in this system on teams inferior to this one. I always saw Schaub as the player with a superior upside, not to mention we gave up a couple of 2nd rounders for him, but the gap between he and Rosenfels in this system was once pretty blurry.
The Houston Chronicle's John McClain reports the Texans have no interest in QB Sage Rosenfels, waived by the Dolphins on Thursday. "[Coach Gary] Kubiak likes T.J. Yates," McClain offers by way of explanation. Kubiak is also comfortable with Jake Delhomme as the No. 2 QB because he's thrown well, picked up the offense quickly, and already embraced a mentoring role with Yates. Kubiak may revisit the issue in a couple of weeks if Yates falls flat on his face against two contenders the next two weeks. Dec. 2 - 12:14 pm https://twitter.com/#!/McClain_on_NFL
In two weeks he'll probably be with someone else. I don't see what's the harm in picking Sage up and waving Clemens.
According to John McClain, the Texans are never interested in anybody. Let McClain tell it, the Texans aren't interested in America, freedom or apple pie and would have to restructure Reliant Stadium in order to sign anyone.
Sage was claimed by Minnesota, so not an option. Sigh. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/Minnesota-Vikings-claim-Sage-Rosenfels-off-waivers-120211
McClain is interested... IN PANCAKES! Posted on December 2, 2011 at 11:12 am by John McClain in General Team sources that feed me snausages all day say that the Texans are interested in acquiring pancakes for sportswriters who dutifully parrot whatever line of bs the team is selling today. Rick Smith is considering fluffy, triple-stacked pancakes soaked in syrup and butter that I would like to rub all over me. A forklift may be hired to deliver the pancakes to the sportswriters or vice versa. Is powdered sugar an option? Tell me what you think.
