Since the season is shortened to 66 games, should NBA league pass be cheaper this year? Would be interested in getting the broadband.

I decided not to renew no matter the cost as my way of "boycotting".

i think this is the best way for the fans to tell the league they aren't happy with the way they handled the lockout.

the only package I would buy would be for a "ONE TEAM" option at very little cost. there's no way I'm paying $50-$80 bucks for a 7 team package this season.

and I plan on emaling them my decision when they finally release the plan options- I have been with them since the very first audio league pass became available...

sure, why not? I'm sure they will get feedback like mine, and maybe we will see a new plan or package come out of it. but in general, I'm a big fan of flexing consumer muscles when I'm not happy with a product.

    squeaky wheel gets the grease.

It best to be! They need to learn something from the NHL.

With Direct TV you can get FSN Houston (on top of all the other cities) no matter where you are for 10 bux

Is this true? I think it depends on proximity to another team, right? I can get the Astros on FS Houston, but not the Rockets.

I will only get the Gametime radio version since I have never gotten any of them before.

Would be nice to actually be able to listen to all the games for the first time in awhile.

While I understand you talking about the the prices being wack and writing a letter, I honestly only think that works if you call in and complain and yell to get them to give you some discount or deal. Most people don't complain, so they don't publicize what they will do for you.

Haha... The NBA cancelled games, it doesn't mean they won't charge you for them!

The real losers of the NBA lockout: the fans...

Stern and Hunter should offer League Pass for free the remainder of the season as a "good faith" gesture for the fans.

We are the ones who suffered the most, after the arena workers obviously.

no but in a shortened season I think a $15 one team package should be available for purchase for disgruntled, obsessed fans like me.

put it this way- if there's no drop in price, there's no way in hell I'm signing up for the even the choice package.

see, I'm already capitulating to the big bad league

I'm getting lp, I live in Austin. There is no other way to watch my rockets with out worrying about dealing with a ****ty feed. Cant wait for the schedule to come out.

I live in Austin too but I'm ditching Directv and just getting league pass broadband as NBA is literally the only thing I watch on TV that I couldn't catch with rabbit ears.

Odds are it will actually be more expensive. Since they probably expect to have less subscribers do to the bad publicity of the lockout, then they have to push up prices to make same amount of money. Occasional fans will be lost, but they know die hard fans will pay the price.
