    Everybody here already knows that Nene is the prime target but its obvious that we're getting shut again...who do you think will be the never been hyped C acquisition for the Rox? mine is, T. Chandler or Okur

    He's already been acquired. His name is Hasheem Thabeet. And when Les finally understand we need to rebuild, Hasheem Thabeet will be the cornerstone of a defense capable of drafting Harrison Barnes next year.

    Okur? I sure hope not.

    Chandler I could see I guess, though I think he'll get overpaid by somebody else.

    Maybe some random guys like Kwame Brown, Jonas Jerebko, Mbah a Moute or possibly even Greg Oden.

    i totally 4 got about anderson varajeo he would b a nice pick up i believe he fits wat we r about heart and hustle he would come cheap 2 bcuz of his injury last year greg oden 2 he would come cheap fits wat we have already with high draft picks that have underchieved but da dude actually has talent jus injury prone

    Anyone know Andrew Bogut's situation? I feel like he would fit under this "under the radar FA/Trade center acquisition." Also would like to see him in a rockets uniform

    Another guy I could see the Rockets take a look at is Kurt Thomas.

    Obviously dependent on the direction they'll choose to go, but he fits Morey/McHale basketball IMO.

    Yeah, I was just throwing names out there in general. Guys that may end up being undervalued to the point where the Rockets might jump at the opportunity.

    I think it's Nene, Chandler or a backup type of player as far as centers go.

    Rumor has it that he can be had for cheap.

    Remember, the Rockets reportedly were interested in some kind of deal involving Speights at the trade deadline.

    Not impressed with what I've seen from Speights, personally, though. Another second-chance, buy-low guy I guess.

    Spencer Hawes. If they get shut out on other big name centers I think they could get Hawes for relatively cheap. Won't be the defensive center they need, but a young center with a good offensive game.
