I thought Charles Shackleford was the amphibious one... http://www.sportshollywood.com/dumbquotes.html
I'm pretty sure it was Avery Johnson when he was with the Spurs, it was on camera I think. A buddy in our rocket crew saw it and we made fun of AJ from then on out.
Sorry if this was posted already, but didn't see it anywhere. Patterson says the surgery has got him feeling better than ever and jumping higher than ever. http://www.myfoxhouston.com/dpp/sports/nba/111129-rockets'-patterson-makes-the-most-of-his-opportunities
Great news! Time to start him and trade Scola, as much as I love him, we are not going anywhere this season so use him in a trade.
That's awesome. I remember Battier showing some hops and getting his first dunk in eight years after gaining relief from a minor surgery.
That's awesome news. I had no idea he was playing with a bad ankle for so long. Man.. I'm ready for some PPatt dunks!
Unless he's part of a package for a superstar, I want this guy as the Rockets' starting PF in the near (if not immediate) future.
Patterson has had surgery on both ankles now. I'd rather trade him and look to Morris. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/mensbasketball/2008-04-02-3618658531_x.htm
<iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/XkDKIAf3H9A" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> He played with OJ Mayo in HS so you can honestly find a ton of clips..
This guy is key to our future. I really hope he takes that next step here. I feel he is borderline allstar in the making. If not an important piece to a winning team.
OMG!!!! Two injuries in four years?! Trade him immediately! I bet you would trade Blake Griffin because he has had knee surgery in both college and the NBA.
Almost all of Yao's surgeries were to repair foot injuries. Also, how can you compare someone who is 7'6" and 300+ lbs to someone who is 6'9" and 235 lbs? Completely different situations.
You would be an idiot to trade Patrick Patterson based on a couple ankle surgeries, one that he succesfully played through. I'll leave it at that...
