He's most likely staying overseas in Poland for the year. He's not ready yet and we won't waste a roster spot or a year of his contract if he says overseas, so it's better for both sides.

Jonathan, have you recieved any word on the Rockets plans to sign rookies Chandler Parsons and Donatas Montejunas? I assume Marcus Morris will be signed of course. However, seeing as though he most likely will not make the Euro playoffs Donatas’ season should be ending right around the same time the NBA starts up. Any word on what we can expect the Rockets to do about signing all of their rookies this year?

They will sign Morris and Parsons. Motiejunas is virtually certain — 95 percent? — to stay in Poland.

Also found out that Prokoms season actually will be going through March and possibly as late as May if they make the playoffs in Europe. He is the focal point of that team right now, so it makes sense to let him play out the year there and sign him next summer. Next year he should be that much better and ready for the NBA with a full summer and training camp to adjust to the NBA as well.

Or he improves and ends up getting better offers in Europe and stays there for at least 3 years so he's no longer bound by the rookie scale.

Again, the coach of Prokom already said he will stay for the year with them.

Their season 100% goes through late May. 100% guaranteed. It is a fact, that their season lasts until the end of May.

Let him stay and get better in the weaker leagues that Europe has.....then bring him over when he is ready for the adult league in the USA.

Yeah let him stay in the league where Ty Lawson, Ricky Rubio, and Brandon Jennings were complete scrubs and among the worst players in the league.

I guess that explains not being able to shoot and not being to score also. You are a true basketball genius.

No time to teach him, no training camp, no summer league, he would get lost in the shuffle and waste a year here.

Better to let him play in the lessor European leagues to get at least some experience.
