    Not exactly groundbreaking news but...

    Chris_Broussard Chris Broussard
[rQUOTEr]Chris Paul's first choice is to play for the Knicks, sources say. He's willing to wait & sign w/NYK as free agent next summer. CP3 would also consider signing extension w/LA Clippers. But Clips' 1st choice is Dwight Howard, sources say. Clippers will do whatever it takes - outside of trading Blake Griffin - to get Dwight, sources say.[/rQUOTEr]

If I'm Magic or Hornets I trade CP3 and Howard before the season starts.

No point in going through the Carmelo BS that Denver went through.

who could NY possible offer for Chris Paul. They have nothing of value after the two big stars. If they have a chance to do it, I would trade Paul for Melo just in terms of a PG would do so much better in NY's offense. I would laugh at Melo going to the hornets too.

Although clippers would be just scary with Blake Griffin and Dwight, I don't see how they work together. Dwight wants the ball run through him everytime and alsways wants the ball more even in Orlando, Blake isn't exactly and off ball guy to dwight adn they don't compliment eachother well.

Blake and Paul is another story.

Blake and Paul make perfect sense. Dwight and Blake? not so much. With Blake, you just need a center that can rebound and block shots. With Dwight, you need a PF that can space the floor. At least that's how I see it.

The Knicks have Billups contract go off the books next year. So they could basically have a big 3 with nothing around them like Miami by signing CP3 outright. Amare/Melo/CP3? Seems like a very nerfed version of Superfriends. But hey, NY is NY, and they'll at least be 2nd round material every year so it's not a bad gig.

Why woudl hornets want a 14 million dollar billups, not only is his expiring contract worthless(since paul is expiring, they could just use the better player and let them expire), but guys like Landry so on are worthless without a star to compliment. There is no upside or chance for them to trade to NY in my opinion

Clippers make more sense. Not only does paul compliment blake really well, but they can offer the likes of Aminu, Eric Bledose, or maybe gordon if they are willing, basically lottery and the like who have more potential than anyone in NY by a mile

OKC needs to put a package together and ship Westrbook off for CP3. NO will accept it and get a rookie all star while CP3 and Durant go on to be the best combo in the NBA

so does the new cba at all do anything to limit teams with big 3s? their other players would suck if this move happened, assuming no one takes a pay cut, right? someone make me feel better

Paul/Melo/Amare would be an offensive nightmare, better offensively than the Heat 3 IMO. LeBron and Wade are better individual scorers but they don't mesh particularly well (both need ball in hands to be effective)

With the NY3, the ball will clearly be in Paul's hands and he can set up Amare and then also dish to Melo when he wants.

I'd rather see Paul go to NY than OKC (less competition for Houston) although on one hand I kind of do hope that OKC succeeds, so that the small market can win for once (besides san antonio)

the knicks have 3 guys outside Melo and Mare' signed to contracts. They do not have draft picks for the next 3 years. What could they possibly offer?Season tickets? The"N" in Knicks?

He is always reporting where he wants his favorite player to go to his favorite team. Which just happens to be one of ESPNs most advertised franchises to hype up for their site as well.
