    Why not? At least Culpepper played in the UFL recently and actually worked out for a team in 2011 unlike Favre who's been playing in his backyard with U-shaped Wranglers on.

    Smith can't straight up say he doesn't think Favre would be effective with the Texans. That's the exact sort of naysayer thing that would make Favre want to play.
