    Decent. Acting is still horrible. Someone should of shot Dale and Herschel.

    Shane = Kirk
    Rick = Picard

    I thought the episode was the best of the season, though the special effects were awful. I see the writers have set up Shane to be the villain, but I think he's getting a raw deal. The dude wouldn't have to be so hardcore if everyone else pulled their weight.

    Two more vids...the first is cast comments on the future of the show and their characters and the second is a sneak peek from episode 8.

    I love this too.

    These are the things that bother you people?

    Where are they getting all this ammo?! That's not realistic!

    Andrea shouldn't be such a good shot already! That's not realistic!

    But not.... THERE ARE CORPSES WALKING AROUND EATING PEOPLE. THAT'S NOT REALISTIC!!....??

    Lemme guess, all of you thought the most unrealistic part of Star Wars was that Anakin's hair shouldn't have had so much volume and bounce in a climate as dry as Tattooine?

    The entire appeal of the show is it's perceived realism. Without that, they might as well add a talking car to the cast.

    Right, and not showing everyone where they go the ammunition is ruining that. These AMC people have NO IDEA what they're doing. I'd rather not see the entire story arc about where and how they found their bullets, thanks. Andrea was also discovered to be a good shot the more she was allowed to use a gun in the comics, as well. I'm pretty sure that's where they're getting their cue from.

    I haven't read the comic version but I remember reading something on it and didn't Herschel actually give his blessing to kill the barn walkers after he was told Glenn saved his daughter from a walker and was convinced that the walkers could not be cured and were basically dead? I liked the way they did it in the show with Shane taking charge. I was kind of expecting Herschel to fly off the deep end when it went down and promptly throw them off his farm. I was also expecting Rick to go off on Shane there but I guess Sophie distracted that fight. The best part about the ending imo is the dilemma in that noone really wanted to kill Sophie the same way Herschel didn't want to kill his friends and family. I think most of them understood why Herschel did what he did in keeping the zombies at that moment when Sophie came out. But, Rick knew he had to finish what he felt responsible for...and keeping her around was not an option. I didn't really see any bite marks on Sophie (unless I just missed it) so I'm curious how she died and then came back (not that it matters)? Did the comic indicate how Sophie actually died? Or, is the Sophie storyline even in the comic? I'm assuming it is.

    In the Comic Sophia lives a long time. Still alive I think. (I haven't read the last few most recent issues because I buy them in volume form). She was also much younger in the comic. 6 vs 12 years old.

    It looks like she had a bite of some sort on her neck.

    I think that in the comic, the zombies broke out and bit more of Hershel's children and Herschel was forced to shoot them himself before they turned into zombies.

    The ending was great. Shane was acting like he was the **** but when Sophia comes walking out of the barn, Rick's still the one that has to get his hands dirty. Shane's not the leader he thinks he is. They also spent all this time looking for Sophia and Shane killed the one person who could've told them she had turned into a zombie and was in the barn.

    Sophia's bite mark was on the left side of her neck.

    That story line isn't in the comic. She never goes missing and is still alive in the comic.

    interesting point about Otis, I was wondering if Hershel or Maggie or anyone was keeping Sophia a secret... the wife was shown feeding the zombies last episode, so some one had to have known.

    the least we could find out is how they found her- I wonder if she happened upon the farm for instance...

    I think they tried to set all that up with the scene where they were wrangling zombies who'd gotten stuck in the river. The kid comes in and tells Hershel "It's happened again" and then they establish that Otis was the one who was the zombie wrangler. I'm pretty sure a lot of that done was to set up that Otis had found Sophia in the river and herded her into the barn before he shot Carl and Rick & Co. came to the farm. Also, Sophia's doll was found further down the river so I'm pretty confident that's what happened.

    Why was Dale hiding the guns? Just to keep it from Shane? If zombies showed up and the group needed their guns, would Dale say, "give me 10 minutes while I go to my hiding spot." Dale should be shot for putting everyone in danger.

    Didn't anyone find it ridiculous that Carl was trying to Rick-up on Shane? Hopefully they don't follow the comic and make Carl an integral character because his actor sucks.
