Didn't know Dallas had Gordon Hayward.

    You mean Haywood.

Please note that this is NOT the "finalized agreement.". It is a memo from the league detailing the "A-list" terms that have been tentatively agreed upon by the league and counsel for the plaintiffs in the Carmelo Anthony antitrust lawsuit (basically, former union leadership).

The actual finalized agreement will cover far more issues and should be about 500 pages long.

    Carry on.

What I meant was reduce the numbers of day off, not reduce the series from best-of-7 to best-of-5. That would also reduce the TV money but not as much.

Have they mentioned when they'll start releasing schedules or are they just picking up from the original schedule starting from X-mas day?

Chinese teams have shown no inclination to let Kenyon Martin, Wilson Chandler, JR Smith, Etc., out of contracts, sources tell Y! Sports.

    WojYahooNBA Adrian Wojnarowski
They all signed agreements that they would have to play in China until season ends in March. They can't sign NBA contracts without releases.

    WojYahooNBA Adrian Wojnarowski
If strategy becomes to make themselves problems there -- or In Smith's case, a bigger problem -- teams can fine, suspend them, without pay.

    WojYahooNBA Adrian Wojnarowski
As official says: "They can play, get paid (in China), and return to NBA in March. Or they can not get paid, and return to NBA in March."

    WojYahooNBA Adrian Wojnarowski
The NBA's a member of FIBA, and it abides by international contracts signed by players. Players and agents knew that when they signed deals.

    WojYahooNBA Adrian Wojnarowski
It made no sense for Aaron Brooks to sign China deal so close to Christmas Day push for a labor deal. Why not wait a week? Now, he's stuck.

China Basketball Association passed rule that it would only sign NBA free agents. No out-clauses for guys under contract.

Looking over the new deal I'll say this much: The financial structure of the NBA has been dramatically altered. And I mean dramatically.

I don't think they will mind that much. It definitely helps them move up the draft ladder for what is "supposedly" the best draft class in a VERY long time.

meaning...this is just the perfect excuse to tank a season for a high draft pick.

Were they even going to re-sign Kmart? As for the other two they were always going to be behind Gallo and Affllo on their roster anyway.
