You don't get up to speed DURING games. You get there in practice, learning the game plan, and getting first team reps. Practice is the most important aspect to the success of NFL teams... if it doesn't work in practice, it doesn't work in the games. This is NOT the NBA.
He's looked fine so far. He needs GAME (and practice) experience. Kubiak's conservatism will bite him.
If there was ever a time to put together a long drive...not even a scoring drive...just run time off the clock...now is the time to do it.
Normally I'd be fine with 4:15 on the clock and us with the ball, but we've been giving the ball back pretty quick with all these 3 and outs.
