Most of these players would benefit from the extra year in college. They need to mature in college not in the NBA.
Like others have said the two year rule will help the college game too, which is basically serves as the minor league for the nba. If the Kommissar really wanted to help franchises out, he would take the lottery and allow all teams to have an equal shot at getting a top five pick so teams like houston won't get stuck in pulgatory awaiting divine intervention to get a 'star' player.

It will make the college and NBDL better, and the NBA better too as kids that age are generally not ready to play. DD
For every great high school or 1st year college player that enters in the NBA there are 10-20 bad ones. To me it is not worth it. Those players will be even better and more mature a year later.

I agree, rarely with the 18,19 year olds do you get a polished project, you just have teh NBA become a developmental league in almost all cases. Even the ones that are considered a success just were force fed, inefficient, and we knew they were the future so we just let it b.e Kobe averaged 8 an sat on the bench his first year, kevin garnett average 9, bynum took 3 years to even be acontribuation in any way, even a guy like lebon who did great statistically shot 43 percent, led the league in turnovers, horrible shooter, basically he was forcefed and if he had a year or twot in college he woudl be more refined at the least and the NBA would get the final products in their final phases(albeit with more growth) rather than being the early development of the players
wow they still get a close MLE, they get above 50 BRIe ,they still have sign and trade, they still have long guaranteed 5 year contracts that hold us in jepordy and don't hold the players accountable, so in this system all the lazy ass players can still do their thing once the guarantees are tehre. How disappointing, it seems like the owners lost in context to what they wanted except they got much more BRI, which to be honest the last deal was inflated and not a good starting point. IMO the owners didn't get as much as peoeple were saying and i hoped for more regulation for a competitive league
