Wrecking Yards / Towing Companies are the scum of the earth

Talk to the owners of the lot. Maybe they will have something to say.

 

Don't forget the auto dealerships, auto repair, auto loans, and auto insurance. They're all just one giant ecosystem of predators.

 

I will on Monday. I'm hoping they have video that can help me.

Has anyone ever been to "Tow Truck Court?" Is this a real thing? How else can I make life hell for "Jet Wrecker Service?"

 

You can't make it hell for them, but you should really make it known to the people who own the property that their tow trucks are scaring away business from their aggressive tactics.

All we can do is wish those tow trucks get into a horrible accident and won't come out of it to tell the story. I don't think there is anyone who's had a good experience with them. Ever driven in front of two tow trucks trying to beat one another? I wished they would hit each other, fall into a ditch on the side, catch fire, and end their lives slowly.

Those wrecking yards people need to be erased from the face of this planet too.

 

yeah, the number of times i have seen tow truck drivers risk the lives of motorists, i do not necessarily disagree with the sentiment above.

The Henderson PD did the same to me. I drove all the way up to Henderson to get my Accident report that they told me was finally done. (a week after the wreck). I called them Friday to see if it was done. They said yes. Called Monday right before I drove up there to confirm. They said yes.

Arrived at said PD, and she said it needs to be only a $5 bill. I go back out in the rain, drive to a whataburger, buy a drink dump it out (I only had a $20) and brought the change to the PD.

Upon my arrival, this fat lazy gov employed b**** tells me oh....it's (my police report) not done, I thought it was done.

So....**** Henderson, Tx. It took threats of legal action to get my report that took them over 2 weeks to complete. (to find out who the jackass was that rear ended and totaled my F150. )

There are people out there that just suck....especially a number of these lazy ass government employees, who can get away with it with out being fired.

 

make anonymous fake calls asking for tow help so they can waste their time and gas.

 

Back when I was really young this one kid on my street was driving his go cart around and he got hit by a speeding tow truck driver on my street. He nearly died from the accident, but luckily managed to make a full recovery. Those assholes used to always speed down my street until that.

 

Ahhh . . . . Still as true today as the day I wrote it!

Again, there are unlimited proof of why they should all get violently bent. I pray that all their lives are full of misery and sadness. All of them rats (borrowed from RR) that has to do with anything "auto."

Good point... however I'm afraid if you send them to neighborhoods, they might hit innocent children like in robbie's story. Maybe send them to places out in the boonies. At night.

 

Talk to the restaraunt and explain what happened to them, tell them you will tell all your friends not to eat there because of this incident, and you will blog about it on the web.

I did, and both the manager and bike security guard watched the entire thing go down without lifting a finger. Since my car was being towed from the TCBY lot, there was really nothing the restaurant could do.

It's not the restaurant's fault, but I will tug at their sympathy strings and see if I can get a meal comped, because well, that is possible with them. The tow company is pure filth. I'm more interested in how to expose/dismantle the towing industrial complex.

Does anyone know how to find out if the $72 fee I paid, which would normally be pocketed by the driver as a bribe, has been given to the company? Do it have to go to the wrecker company? In other words, if I can prove he pocketed the money, would this help my case?

As for calling in anonymous towing, I really don't want to give them cause to drive around endangering and towing other innocent people. I might go rip down all the tow-away signs in their lots. The most effective thing I did all last night was sit on the hood of his car for nearly two hours. My sister also blocked in another wrecker from the same company trying to tow a different car. Obstruction can be surprisingly rewarding.
