Anybody that can tell me whether a Nook touch is worth braving black friday over a base model Kindle? Both are the same price, but how much better is the Nook touch, exactly? I can order the Kindle online.
Best Buy has a ton of Blu Rays marked down. That includes all the Mad Men seasons for 8.99. The online section of their ad went live today, but I fell asleep before it happened.
Basically the same thing, though I believe the nook has a slightly better battery life and physical buttons as well as the touch screen for turning pages if that concerns you. If you are going to brave BF I think someone (maybe Target?) is supposed to have the Kindle Keyboard with free 3G for around the same price (usually 150 IIRC) if you are looking for more options.

Oops, "many stores open at midnight" threw me off, but it looks like it will last until noon tomorrow.
Like mentioned, they're pretty much the same. Both are crazy light, and should have similar battery lives if you turn off wifi/3g. The nook feels a bit more robust, because it's thicker(curved back for grip) and has that soft touch plastic coating on top of that. You can go to a target now and fiddle around with both models, but they're demo models so it's hard to compare how friendly the touch interfaces are. Also you can't tell how well amazon and b&n features work with those, but both have their advantages.

Damn! Best Buy's games were about 50% off but all the good ones are sold outline, as with most of the good Blu-Ray's. I still got Spartacus season 1 on Blu-Ray for 18.99
