Kevin Martin would need to sign in a lower level league than Euroleague. If he tried to play in Euroleague he would find out that Euroleague guards are way bigger and stronger than NBA guards and his very weak frame and style of faking fouls would not go over.

They would throw him around like a rag doll. Granted, the Euroleague changes its rules this year to a more NBA style to help the NBA players that came over, but even then, it's not the same as the NBA.

He would not be able to guard anyone, he would get destroyed in the low post, and he would not be getting bailed out by the refs 15 times a game.

If he does play in Europe.......he better be playing in something like French League/Eurocup level.

I'll say when I'll know it

Blair had 70K per month, but you should pay only 13% in tax in Russia, so it was a pretty nice deal

You are really crazy man. Really crazy

Guard that is under 6'5 is listed as undersized SG in the NBA. Gordon and Wade are. Guys that are 6'6 are playing as a small forwards all along in Europe

You have completely lost your mind

I've read that the club of my hometown (CAI Zaragoza, ACB league) is interested in Chandler Parsons. Don't know if it would be for all season or with an NBA opt-out clause. Do you think that the Rockets would allow him to stay all season at the Spanish league?

    GO AWAY....

Just because Martin takes full advantage of the NBA rules, doesn't mean that he wouldn't be able to pick up a basketball in your precious Euroleague. Its just basketball we are talking about, its not MMA. Im pretty sure at some point in his life he has played in a physical game of basketball and lived to tell his story.

As for Chase in Russia, good for him. The more different styles of play he can get exposure to the better he will be long term. Chase isn't going to be a superstar, but he's going to have a long career as a swing man in the NBA in the Mike Miller/ Kendall Gill mode. The more versatile he can be, the better his career will be. I just hope he doesn't get kidnapped by the Russian Mafia and never heard from again.

Yes. The Rockets don't need any more young players for "this" season (2011-12). If anything, having Parsons in camp would create difficult decisions for the Rockets, including possibly (albeit not likely) having to waive Parsons and lose his rights.

Ideally, both D-Mo and Parsons get some seasoning in Europe this year and then join the Rockets for training camp in October 2012--when Houston will actually need bodies--as more developed players.

Russian mafia is a myth. Any criminal organization or syndicate without Sicilian membership can't be named mafia or cosa nostra anyway

Euroleague players first of all, are taller on average than NBA players. Secondly, Euroleague tends to have big, strong guards. The guards are often the low post players in Euroleague.

Kevin Martin would be posted up all the time there.
