    What cracked out version of Friends did you watch?!? Rachel went out with Ross, had his baby, and eventually settled down with him at the end. She went out with Joey for like 2 episodes. That was basically it as far as sharing her went though. I'm not proud of the fact that I know this much about that show, but hey....I guess it comes in handy every once in a while lol.

    6 months isn't a long time but your friend will need cool down. Can't just see him a week after and say guess what we're eskimo brothers!!! Just take things slow with the girl and not make it anything serious for a while.

    Just think how you have felt in the past. Once he finds some new booty he won't be worrying about it ;).

    Being attracted to your best friend's chick is not uncommon. Whether you act on it is something else entirely. In this particular case, don't assume, regardless of what he says, that you dating her won't tick him off. Most likely, it will. Just a hunch based on personel experience.

    I just realize in my OP that I didn't mean connection more like sexual tension. Forgot to also mention, that on saturday we all met up for my cousin's birthday and I called up my friend's ex and she came. when my friend saw her he got super pissed, telling her how come she hadn't answered any of his calls for months but as soon as I called she came running. I played it off saying I invited everyone on my phone book. She told me I should have told her he was gonna be there and I honestly did not know he was going to.

    that ship set sail when they began dating seriously... and after 9 years, it has sailed WAY the hell away by now. i don't think it's ever cool to hit-and-quit a friend's ex. unless he tells you it's cool.
