If you three are all social with each other then he should be attuned to the possibility of you being with her. Six months is a long time to accomodate another person's feelings.

 

I did this in my previous relationship. Yeah, the girl I eventually broke up with. She was my friend's ex, they were together for about 8 months, to which it ended because she cheated on her. Funny thing is, she also cheated on me which is the reason we ain't together anymore. Women who are whores don't change.

But getting back to the topic, my friend didn't approve of me going after his girl in the beginning, he actually wanted to kick my ass. Was I in the wrong? We weren't that close of a friend anyway, and they had been apart for a year. Plus, the fact he had already found a new girl and he tells me not to go for it? Yeah right.

Do I regret my decision? Nope. It was real love while it lasted even though she screwed me over, it was worth it. And the friend and I are still friends to this day. We go drinking once in a while.

Have any of yall watched Friends? They all shared Rachel and they all remained friends. Haha.
