People already standing in line @ bestbuy. Unless you live near a Bestbuy where no one goes, people stand out there 4 to 5 days before they open.
Just check out your local office supply stores like Staples of Office Depot. They sell them @ clearance all the time. I know we just had a number of $100+ desks sell for about $25-$30. They clearance those things out all the time.
This is crazy. You get 1 guy who thinks "I'm going go stand in line now to make sure I get that 42". That's where it all starts. Then another guy freaks because the line is stating and he's not in it, so he camps out too. 3 nights camping on the sidewalk - all to save $200. In fact I dare say it might be less than that because there is still cyber Monday and the week before Christmas sales coming up. They must get some joy in it because it's not worth $200 - or less.
I think 5 pm will be early enough. It is awfully hard to guess when the store is opening 4 hours earlier, and has some of its best deals in recent memory. And as an FYI, the Dynex TV will be available online on Thanksgiving for that price. They'll also have a 32" at an unknown price.
Really? People linining up already...3 days before the sale? Screw this - my time is more valuable than standing in line for hours or camping out. All I want is a cheap Blu-Ray player. I see one for $67 at Amazon + Free Shipping or a $49 recertified one at New Egg but $9 shipping: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882226027 Anyone know of any other cheap Blu-Ray players - doesnt matter if its recertified but I am looking for free shipping
$50 with Wi-Fi built in. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Dynex&#...ayer/2333036.p?id=1218322059018&skuId=2333036 I'll also add, HHGregg has that same $40 Toshiba Blu-Ray player as BB on BF, at $40 after mail-in-rebate, with a minimum of 40 in store, so they would be a safe bet to not wait in line for, but you would have to wait for the $20 or $30 MIR.
Awesome! The BB Dynex is perfect. Thanks. Thats only 10 more than the BF deal. As long as it plays a disc I dont care what brand it is.

Yup, I check multiple sites, when I see stuff that may be ClutchFans worthy, I post it. I actually found this one on fatwallet. Pugs
Saw some deals at Microcenter that I'm interested in..maybe it's already been posted here. (i5 2500k for $150). I was wondering if anyone knew how long the lines get there? It opens at 8am.
Yeah, don't understand this at all if people have jobs. They make more money just working their job (with the Thanksgiving overtime) over that time than camping out. Last few years, I would guess many of them people are those unfortunate ones out of work, but I remember people camping out at places even 10 years ago.
The video game consoles are the worst because of the limited supply. There were 7 or 9 PS3s in the Wal-Mart I worked at (I think we were supposed to have 14, but were shorted). The first people showed up 5 days in advance, the last 2 days. The Wii everyone showed up the day of and we had 22 in stock. I would have been waiting in the PS3 line if I hadn't been working.
Keys to winning the gaming console line (these might help y'all out in the normal lines, but I doubt it)... 1. Curfew check -- if you see kids in the line don't hesitate to call the police and get them sent home due to curfew laws 2. Alcohol -- report people if they're drinking in public 3. Threats -- report anyone that threatens you 4. Public urination -- report em
