For some reason, I'm getting excited. I just want to show a quote that Kubiak made that is almost the exact same comment that Dick Vermeil made when Kurt Warner took over for the Rams in '99 for what started the "Greatest Show On Turf"... Mind you, this is BEFORE either Warner or Leinart took over for their teams. I'm sensing HUGE things to come. Texans fan, get ready.
Classic example of correlation not equaling causation. I urinate every day, and every day people die. My urination does not cause their deaths. My point is, every time a quarterback goes down with an injury the head coach says something almost identical to what Kubes just said. It has no bearing on whether Leinart will be successful. All of that said, Kubiak's prior results with quarterbacks give me confidence. I think he's an excellent QB coach and has a great system to make okay quarterbacks look great. (Doesn't hurt to have a future HoF WR either.)

I appreciated Kurt agreeing that Leinart had some maturity/growing up issues early when he got to the NFL, but he has that now ... I am also happy Warner believes the system (reliance on effective run game/ bootleg passes/movement in the pocket) suits Leinart's strengths But of course, we all have to see. He could fall on his face every play..Nothing is a certainty but I believe Leinart will do well enough - and who knows if we go deep with Leinart, maybe QB controversy-lol We can only hope right now.
i'm going to go ahead and put it out there...Lionheart will be the texan's tom brady...but better and not wear uggs
(I'm doing the splits on two chairs, in a completely non- disturbing way as I post this pic) <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/hoy_en_la_revolucion/6381316485/" title="lionheart_poster_01s by *The last son of krypton*, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6096/6381316485_0574afc380_z.jpg" width="640" height="470" alt="lionheart_poster_01s"></a>
Jim Mora believes Lienart will have success with the Texans. They start talking about the texans @ the 2:36. http://www.nfl.com/videos/houston-texans/09000d5d82458a3b/Coaches-Show-Backup-QBs NFL Network with Pancakes McClain. http://www.nfl.com/videos/houston-texans/09000d5d82457bf7/Texans-moving-forward?continuous=true
Matt Leinart will probably throw 79 touchdown passes in his first game, in the first quarter. The NFL will bow down and hand him the Lombardi Trophy which he will then lose in a coked out game of twister with Sue Bird and Candance Parker
Jesus, McClain looks like a scary mofo. Every time he spoke, his eyes would look like they were bout to pop out of their sockets.
He'll lead the team to a 5-1 record the rest of the way with 12-4 and a 1st round bye heading into the playoffs.
