If LSU beats Arkansas then Georgia to win the SEC Title, they should be given the national championship, straight up if otherwise it would mean that they have to face Bama again. There is virtually no good reason that LSU would have to go through all that just to face Bama again, while Alabama doesn't have to play an SEC title game. Would make the LSU win at Bama earlier meaningless. If the rematch does happen, and Alabama wins, then it would be a total failure of the BCS system. The only "fair" thing to do would be to crown LSU national champions before the game, and then if Alabama wins, they can share the co-national champions along with LSU. Basically, there is no way that LSU should not be the nat. champions
LSU should get it outright. They beat Bama on the road. Also, they beat higher ranked opponents. I want the rematch, but we have to hear them talk about how the regular season is a playoff. Well... if the regular season is a playoff, then there shouldn't be any rematches... Just sayin'.
