I hope it's not serious but just because he walked off on his own doesn't mean it's not serious.

Tom Brady walked off the field when he tore his ACL.

Didn't he run over someone a few years ago? I am not a fan of his, but don't wish any injury on anyone.

Maybe the owners will start sweating if the big named players start risking injury....

DD, It would be sneaky if the superstars started faking injuries to scare the owners. If the owners overreact and work out a deal, then the players can get diagnosed by team doctors and be fully recovered.

Sneaky? I would say that would be a smart business strategy....

Smith's agent probably took an injury policy out on him.

Ironically, it was his own team mate Carmelo, who was playing possum to get a call in his favor against Durant.

not quite, but just as tragic.

He and his passenger were ejected in a crash. His friend died. Neither was wearing seat belts. Toxicology test were negative. The grand jury chose not to indict with vehicular manslaughter. Pled guilty to wreckless driving violation.

For some reason I thought he went around another car at a red light and got hit in the intersection.

I am a little fuzzy on the details but I recall thinking he was at fault.

It was his friend who died after JR ran a stop sign and crashed into another vehicle. I dont think he was ever charge with DUI with that incident, but he has had numerous traffic citations and had his driver's license suspended 5 times in one year.

Yeah, he pled guilty to wrechless driver. Ran a run and caused a tragic accident. But he didn't run over a pedestrian. That seemed to be what you were first asking.

Yeah, had it completely mixed up, knew it was somthing.

I am not a fan of his anyway, the guy seems pretty stupid out there on the court.

He makes Von Wafer look like a Devry graduate.

Err why? If all the top superstars suddenly got MCLs and ACLs playing in overseas leagues then that would just strengthen the owner's position even more.

They would be like "Accept my offer and get paid to play or Go overseas and get injured".
