Haha some people who actually have played the game on neogaf.com pointed out some stuff in the Gamespot guys review that doesn't happen in the game and he quickly edited his review. Guy probably didn't even play it completely troll
His review is definitely suspicious. IGN considers it the best Zelda game ever and this guy technically considers it the worst (I'm guessing no Zelda game has ever gotten below an 8 on GameSpot). Someone is obviously making stuff up or is just a Zelda-hater, and I'm betting it's the latter. It's going to be a fun Thankgiving break in front of my TV
Really excited to get this game, but doesn't anyone know if they sell the wii disk drive cleaner kit in stores? Checked Walmart and they didn't have it.
Now to go in hiding for a good time. You need a motionplus controller to play this game, so if you don't have one you might as well get this bundle that comes with it!
I want to pick this up, but I'm used to playing Zelda games on a controller. I really don't want to have to beat temples by waving my arms around. How are y'all liking the controls so far?
The controls are amazing. It's not waggling the controller anymore. It's 1:1 which means the sword follows your movements. If you need to slice horizontal you swing the controller sideways, vertical then in a vertical motion, diagonal then diagonal forward thrust then jab the controller at the screen etc... Trust me every fight and move feels awesome instead of button mashing like other games.
Did you talk to Groose and his punk friends? Then check back at the academy to get a sword and talk to that one dude in the yellow tunic.
Played 12 hours of Zelda today... My god it's amazing, I love the ballad of the goddess (it's the only theme after OoT that sticks to my head in the Zelda series). The dynamic and chemistry between Zelda and Link is incredible. It's the first time where I've seen their relationship have that much emotional attachment to it, and it's awesome.
