Brad Davis came in second in MVP Balloting.
Former Dynamo Dwayne De Rosario won League MVP.

    Congrats to both.

I don't know how to quantify it, but we're a pretty sizable underdog. They have three or four players better than any player the Dynamo will have active for this game and they have clearly been the best team in MLS basically all season.

But I will say this. As the two weeks between the conference finals and MLS Cup has worn on, more and more people are coming around to the Dynamo winning this game. I listen to the MLS Extra Time Radio podcast and their guests over the last two weeks have been very positive towards the Dynamo's chances tonight.

Looks like it's going to be a wet and sloppy game. Rain in the LA area has soaked the field.

It remains to be seen who this development will favor, but on paper, it looks like it may very well help the Dynamo and their power game. The Galaxy like to get out and run and that might be difficult in the mud.

    I'm a bit nervous.

Hope we pull this one out.

I'm a little nervous as well.

I think we'll know within the first fifteen minutes what kind of game it is going to be for the Dynamo. If the Galaxy come out and get the ball into the box early and often, it might be a long day. But if the Dynamo can get the Galaxy to slow their pace down to match theirs, I think they have a real shot.

It seems like there is a pro-Galaxy crowd, but I am hoping to see lots of Orange scattered in the crowd.
    That's what WE said!

    ¡¡¡¡VAMOS, DYNAMO!!!

Is that section 95% of the dynamo fans in attendance?

That 2 section is 100 percent Dynamo. That's about 900 of them in there. I'm sure there are other Dynamo fans through the stadium.

Pretty decent showing for Dynamo fans considering that this game is taking place all the way across the country.

The Galaxy caught a nice little break by having this "neutral field" game take place at their home stadium.

So far this has gone about like I expected. The only real chance for the Dynamo came on a free kick while the Galaxy have had several nice chances during the run of play.

    damnit.

Gals have been in their attacking end for most of the game. I think Dynos only had one shot on goal.

Pretty much the case. If I were watching this game and knew nothing about the rules or what was going on, I would think there were at least 15 players on the field for the Galaxy and only 7 or 8 for the Dynamo. Our side can't seem to get any movement forward.

It almost looks like the Dynamo are playing with a shot clock. Every possession they have ends with a long ball from 35 yards that appears to be neither a shot nor a pass to anyone in particular.

    Three times.

Three times that dude could have scored.

This is why I wished they played last Sunday. The Dynamo look slow.

Adam Cristman is having a tough game for LA. First, he missed what is likely the easiest header in the box that he has had all season. Then he missed a second header that was admittedly much tougher. Just now, he had a ball at his feet thanks to Keane, but slipped before he could get a shot off.

Remember, Cristman was a late addition to the LA lineup after Chad Barrett suffered a dislocated ankle during training this past week.
