We manhandled the Titans though... I think with our D we should finish the season undefeated in our division unless we are playing for nothing the last week and rest everyone.

Because the Jags offense is terrible. Number one defense vs a terrible offensive team equals win.

Brian Cushing finds your lack of faith disturbing.

The D seems to be improving after each game. Remember this is still the first year in the system and the Jags are really really bad offensively.

Complete fluke. Both Jags TDs came off relatively unforced Texan fumbles. Houston dominated the game.

You could count a W for the Titans the week they play in Buffalo. I still think the Texans will easily make the playoffs......unless Leinhart is complete garbage.

The Bills are falling apart but Buffalo is still a tough place to play.

Locker is leading the Titans back against the Falcons. They're only down 23-17 now. Atlanta better not blow this one. The fumble by Turner gave Tennessee new life :(

hassleback getting injured might be a bad thing for us.

Yeah, Locker is a wild card. I wonder if his running ability might loosen things up for CJ2K?!?

Glad the Falcons were able to pull this one out.

Texans up 2 games with 6 left to go. I guess our magic number is now 4

You know, this is really an awesome point. That out D hasn't even peaked yet.

Plus all the injuries and the rookies (Watt and Reed). Next year, this defense is going to be just too damn good. Especially after Wade gets a draft. And you know some FA defensive players will now look at Houston as a great place to play. AND our defense is younger than our offense. If all holds up, I'd rather they draft a stud WR in the first round than a defensive player.

I'm glad the titans lost, gets more comfortable breathing room, which we may need or not

Any combination of Texan wins or TEN losses equaling 5 makes NYD meaningless.

Should we simply beat Indy and Jax, Ten loses nearly every tiebreaker and has to beat our record outright.

Nothing is a given, but we control our own destiny.

Wade just had his draft - we nearly went 100% defense, and largely off his input. That's not happening again. I expect a more balanced draft this year, with our first rounder almost certainly being a WR or possibly a lineman.

I could see a first round CB or safety, our secondary behind Joseph and Manning is very mediocre.

I really don't see us drafting anyone that's not a WR or NT in the first round, unless of course there's an absolute can't miss prospect. We finally have a deep enough team to make a luxury pick.

As the Giants have shown, pass rushing in the NFL is like pitching in baseball. You can never get enough. I'd be fine with a speed rushing OLB in round 1 since all our current LB's (Mario, Barwin, Reed) are more of the strength/overpowering types.
