AOL. It's $15 per month but worth it. Pretty fast dialup speeds

hotmail is so buggy and laggy for me. Gmail on the other hand is very lag free and very easy to search for emails.

If you don't know what you are searching for then why would you search? That makes no sense at all.

You can sort by date, and if you are looking for a particular sender just type their name or email address in the gmail search bar and it will come up.

Not understanding what you could sort that you cant already do. You cant sort by file size, but I have never had to search for an email based on the size of file I sent.

In all my years of using Gmail since the closed beta days, I have never once felt a need to sort my mail. Ever.

Why would you ever need to sort when you have the best email search interface known to man? I can find a mail from 5 years ago in seconds as long as I can remember who sent it or even a couple of random words in it. Why make your brain do the work when the computer can do it for you?

Maybe you want to organize it alphabetically, or by size or date.

Point is why? The only reason why I would ever want to sort alphabetically by name or otherwise is so I can look for stuff more easily. But why waste brain cells and precious time scanning through an alphabetically sorted list when I can just type a keyword or two and instantly find what I'm looking for?
