My lady and I went to San Antonio this weekend for a romantic getaway, wanted to check out the Rivercenter Comedy Club, and who's the headliner? Our very own Billy D. Washington, aka Another Brother! I consider myself a huge comedy connossieur (I even have a little bit of a comedy background myself, did improv in high school for Comedysportz) so I was super stoked to see a fellow clutch fan on stage. I've seen some of his stuff on YouTube so I knew he was funny but he absolutely KILLED it last night. He did a lot of crowd work and was absolutely brilliant. I think a good mark of how truly funny a comic is is how he does crowd work because it showcases his natural wit and Billy was hysterical. I highly recommend y'all go check him out when you can. I understand he usually performs at the Improv in Houston. Spoiler No, AB did not pay me to write this.
Another Brother is Billy Washington? Damn I was in San Antonio yesterday for the day and was seriously considering stopping by the comedy club for his show at 8/8:30? Definitely would have gone if I knew it was him
But did he steal the crowd work material from someone else? Seriously though, would it be legal for you to record it through your cell and post it on youtube?
It's not legal (people do it anyways), and putting a phone cam on the youtubes would defeat the purpose of supporting AB. Just youtube the stuff he's already done if you're interested.
Seen Billy twice now and will see him again. He's a real treat. Love his stage presence and his musical compositions. Not just a comedian, but a flat out professional entertainer.
Awesome entertainer, even better person, seen him at least once a year since 2005, always have a good time everytime I go
