I tell you wat, the Packers could very well lose to the Tampa team the Texans destroyed- 28-26 with 4 minutes left - Pack up
I don't get why this isn't a td? He gets tackled afterwards, but he crosses the plane, play over right? Same thing happened a few weeks ago when an rb tried to stretch and fumbled coming down.
Because the NFL has diferent rules for receving TD's and running TD's. Its stupid, but its all about what is defined as a "catch".
I hate how the rules change when the ball crosses the goalline. It makes no sense whatsoever. The inconsistency, plus the implementation of the rules is maddening.
Shanahan is an absolute moron for ever benching Grossman. He never got a fair chance to start. He might not be the quarterback of the future for them, but he might have had at least one more win for the Skins over the past month.
I know it's different when you catch it in the endzone you have to come up with the ball. But when someone runs it in, whether it's via catch or a handoff, doesn't the play end after it crosses?
If anything, they've been ultra-consistent. They define what is a catch, and what is not a catch. If that play doesn't happen in the end zone, its gonna be ruled as a non-catch. Same thing for catches that happen in the end zone.
Yep. It does. Because they don't have to rule whether or not it is a "catch". If its not going to be ruled a catch, it shouldn't count as a TD.
Shanahan is not an offensive genius, nor is he great with QB's, without Kubiak. He'd trade his own son for Kubes in a second.
