Lee Corso has Keenum in his top 3, replacing Weeden. David Pollack: Who have they played? Whats his signature moment? Chris Fowler mentions he has brought them back in games(ie LA Tech) and Pollack says "But who saw that? It has to be on a national stage" Herbstreit says a top 3(or was it 5?) finish itself is a victory for guys like Kellen Moore and Keenum.
It's totally facepalm worthy watching ESPN college football guys talk about non-BCS programs. You're paid to do this guys, do your f***ing homework.
UH has played one team with a winning record as of now and they almost lost to that one said team. You can be a fan, but you have to be somewhat objective. UH might be able to beat Alabama or lose by 5 TD, but given the competition they have faced it is hard to make a distinction.
Not even close to the point. You've got guys saying Case Keenum has played 6 years in this system (it's actually 2, as he had Briles for 1 year, and Holgerson for 1, and now Kingsbury for 2, and if you want to lump Holgerson and Kingsbury together, that's still only 3 years) and saying we can't run the ball and "barely" beat UCLA. Just stupid, blatantly false stuff like that.
Not taking anything away from Case I'd put him #2 in the Heisman... But arent Briles, Holgerson, and Kingsbury all under the Mike Leach tree? LOL at Corso there WOW

CBS Sports isn't on most standard cable packages. I've had to watch UH games online. It's good FSN picked this one up.
Just like I predicted, La Tech beat Nevada. Now they get a layup against New Mexico State, and the WAC title is theirs. Good team they've got.
Don't know if posted. A fantastic piece by Pat Forde that shines the spotlight on Keenum and UH. http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/footba...enum_houston_big_present_bigger_future_119111
I mean, how could you put a 2-loss team in the title game, when they are obviously not the "best" in the country, ahead of an undefeated UH team ranked in the top 5-7ish? We are only 4 losses away from this scenario - an Alabama loss to Auburn at Auburn, and Arkansas loss to LSU at LSU, a Stanford loss to Notre Dame or in the Pac-10 championship, and a Virginia Tech loss to Virginia or in the ACC championship.
My bad, and an Oklahoma St loss to OU. But, my point remains, it is not that far out of the realm of possibility.
I agree. I think there are two favorable scenarios. All those teams have two losses and we are in the championship game with LSU in my opinion. And I also think if we are the only undefeated team and Alabama is in, there would be appeal to see the contrasting styles and that will be a factor. It won't take long for the media to get behind the underdog scenario if we are the only undfeated team left and we just beat a ranked opponent. With two more weeks to go. It's all still possible, though unlikely, and as we've seen. Any given Saturday. Winning out first is key, and it won't be easy as we've seen.
