If it comes down to a three way tie LSU and Bama will go. I'm gonna assume that is LSU loses, it will be close. Alabama beat Arkansas soundly. But this game will be played in Death Valley. I still say the SEC should occupy both spots in the title game. Assuming Bama wins the Iron Bow.
Not exactly. Bama still can get into the title game, and its missed kicks were not under 40 yards so you can't just blame the kicker but the offense's inability to get close against LSU's defense as opposed to these other winning teams which were somewhat "luckier" that normally makeable field goals were missed.
Has a conference ever had the No. 1, No. 2, & No. 3 teams at the exact same time? Crazy enough most of these things or their equivalents have happened. KSU still needs to lose. As does Stanford and V-tech. Then hopefully the SEC will beat each other up. Okay, say the voters decide that they will NOT 1. Have a rematch nor 2. Have a non-conference champion in the BCS Championship. Does that mean, this is in Virginia Techs ballpark? ЯR
Oklahoma State will still have a chance if the voters really don't want a rematch and they can blowout OU - the computers LOVE the Big12 to an absurd degree, so OSU will still be in the top 3 or 4 there, most likely. I don't know if VaTech will do well enough in the computers to be in the mix even if the voters aren't happy with SEC vs SEC.
So Lets say Arkansas wins at LSU next week, who goes to the title game? Alabama, LSU and Arkansas would all have 1 loss each Nice win by USC over the overrated Ducks aka Black Swans
Yeah I think VT could beat Arkansas. Beamer is something like 1-25 against top 10 schools. Slim chance VT makes the National Championship though. VT schedule was very soft.
Bama will easily get into the title game now if they beat Auburn. I can't see how Stanford can jump them even if they win the Pac-12 title game. Assuming LSU doesn't mess up either against Arkansas, looks like it'll be a rematch.

Can you imagine how much money that would bring in? It would be like Ali-Frazier 3. I bet Jerry Jones is chomping at the bit.
We tried. Heck I even Tebowed for Stanfurd to miss the last field goal. Apparently my faith in the Tim wasn't strong enough.
