That stat is good...until you see that they were blown out in all of those losses. If Tulsa had been within 2 touchdowns at the end of any of those games, I would be impressed. UH just has to take care of business the rest of the way, and hope that some teams ahead of them suffer some surprising losses.
Won't we automatically get a Bowl game if we win out since BSU lost last week? Our fate is solely in our hands, not anyone else's.

Boise State is currently ranked 10th and UH is ranked 11th. I don't think it's unreasonable to think we may leapfrog them by winning the rest of our games in a convincing fashion, but you never know.
We don't need anybody ahead of us to lose. Our remaining SOS is going to bump us over Boise if we win out.
Even that doesn't matter. Boise can be ahead of UH and UH would still get the bcs bid if they remain undefeated because Boise won't be conference champion. TCU almost has that locked up for MWC.
Pretty good shouldn't be 'the real test' of the season for a top 11 team in the country. If I had any say, I'm not putting UH in a BCS bowl game. You gave up 42 points to UTEP. Louisiana Tech played you to the wire. A real college football team with any sort of balance, say Notre Dame.. Would beat UH 55-41. Your offense is good. Your team as a whole is simply above average.
But on 2nd thought, I hope that ESPN's current bowl projections happen, because I would love laugh at my coworkers after Alabama goes all Sandusky on UH.

Boise doesn't matter anymore. You have to win your concert to be considered. All you have to do now is be in the top 16 since the Big East qualifier isn't ranked. UH and TCU have a shot for the Sugar Bowl with this scenario.
