NO that would be more like 75%. I said 50% are vandals (more specific).

do you not know what an eyeball test is? it is a number pulled out of your ass.

Sure, it is, if you are eyeballing something you aren't really looking at.

Have you been to Occupy events to actually verify this?
Here's the incident that I referred to in the previous post.
    http://youtu.be/TsrD9NxRC74

As far as those arrest most of those are not incidences of violence. In the videos of many of the arrests the people arrested are not resisting.

I am curious but do you know if the TEA party paid for the extra police and other measures that went to provide security for their protests? I know at the ones in MN the taxpayers carried that expense.

Obviously any march will disrupt traffic for businesses so have you considered that the TEA Party marches have also cost businesses?

Were in the article did it say it is going to legal fees?

I noticed it said this though.
[rquoter]Last Friday, the Occupy Wall Street finance committee made one of its first detailed reports, saying it had spent $55,000 to date, including $22,000 for food, medical care and laundry and $20,000 on communications systems.[/rquoter]

Now if they weren't cleaning up why would money be spent on laundry.

Anyway I have first hand observation of at least one Occupy group cleaning up after themselves.

So you are admitting that your eyeball test is just a number pulled out of your ass. So basically you don't actually know what percentage are violent.

Their rallies are paid for. Police, toilets, and all Also you don't need police at a Tea Party event. They rarely commit crimes.

No, events usually bring in business. That's why businesses like it when their city hosts the Olympics. Unlike the Olympics though, OWS scares the customers because they are violent, disease infested, and crime oriented. Nobody wants to be around that.

It doesn't. Thousands have been arrested though, is OWS gonna hang them out to dry?

If they are cleaning up why are the locales infested with disease and ringworm? how about San Fran declaring OWS camp a public health nuisance because it has too much feces? Does this strike you as people who clean up after themselves?

You belittle my eyeball test and then draw conclusions from your one encounter. unfair.

The Tea Party is an organized, subsidized, sanitized, faux event. OWS is an organic populist rebellion.

One is Lollapalooza and one is a Tupperware party.

explode from what? I haven't posted this much in a D&D thread since Weinergate. This couldn't be better for Republicans. Voters are getting a straight forward comparison between the demographics of the different ideologies. That plays right into the Republican's hands.

That is disgusting Basso and you are very un-informed.

Fox news is falsely linking Obama assassination attempt to OWS. It's just plain deceitfulness.

Fox News and ABC. They wrote it because park police said it.

Possible kernel of a formulating thought:

A unifying theme of OWS and Tea Parties is the China-ization of America, where society consists of the 1% plutocrats and no middle class. But in reality, China is actually moving more toward a broader middle class dream, while America is losing theirs.

The why is globalization. It balances out earnings inequities. But the alternative is colonialism that exploits some to the benefit of others. And, we all brought it on ourselves because we like the cheap stuff, lots and lots of stuff.

But once we set the wheels were in motion, with a little free trade act here and an international banking regulation repeal there, the exponential growth of the money/power/money machine was set loose upon us. The lawyers wanted to get paid.

The only way to stop the Lawyers, CEO's, Lobbyist and Ad Men is for all of us to stop voting for whomever they support. I'll bet that means less Republicans than Democrats, but I'm willing to go to the Free Market of Ideas and take my chances. Vote for good ideas you agree with but don't vote for anybody that takes a bunch of anonymous Super PAC money, or Health Insurance Money, or Investment Bank money.... that means our candidates will post every dollar they take in and every dollar they spend.

Transparency... something everyone can agree on.

(I should be Buddy Roemer's Speech writer, I already have the right accent)

Good lord, kid, is it possible for you to be more uninformed than you obviously are? I don't think so.

    Pathetic.
