I believe the $168 mil or whatever it is got distributed to players in their entirety. Each player got a check, the amount of which is a set % of their salary (just like how the escrow works).

With talks on ending lockout dead for now, Kevin Love and Luol Deng could be the next players to make move overseas. tinyurl.com/83ahfqh

Bunch of players trying to go overseas.

Would this be some potential leverage against the owners?

Sacramento Kings fans wouldn't be very happy with the shape Tyreke Evans is in if the season started today. At least 20 pounds overweight.

    Shawn Kemp syndrome?

Trey Thompkins had 15.5% body fat percentage at the NBA combine, but looks to have slimmed down dramatically since. Used his time off wisely

    The Anti-Shawn Kemp?

another article involving "sources close to the situation"... I've had enough

if that article is to be believed, if they can't sort this thing out next week (what are the odds with Thansgiving...) then no games until after London.

more importantly they dont have the capital to back up a league. amare is so naive if he thinks the players are capable of putting together a league, it's like having the government run healthcare, it's laughable...

I'm calling it right now. After reading that CBS article by Berger, I think we will have a deal reached before Thanksgiving.

Giving us exactly one month to prepare for the start of the season, Christmas.

Santa Claus and Baby Jesus will not allow no NBA on Christmas. At the end of the day, Scrooge and even the Grinch settled their differences and became good.

Veteran NBA insider Ken Berger wrote Friday that the owners and players are still communicating and trying to make a deal that starts the season no later than December 25.

We always thought that the players' rejection of last week's offer was to gain leverage in one last counter. And we've waited patiently for any sign that David Stern would indeed lower his offer to the 'reset proposal,' which he threatened to do by last Wednesday.

Why does it have to be an even number?
