My guess is that PDiddy and Jay-Z reach out to him and tell him to stay humble. That it's really hard to get where he's already at right now, but it can instantly be gone.

Next week he's got to come back at the top of his game and be incredibly, incredibly humble and appreciative. If not, he's gone.

I think his age shows there! But then again, now we know they're not lip-syncing.

Very interesting reports are coming out claiming that he was told multiple times he was not allowed to wear his headphones (Beats by Dre) do to licensing issues. Apparently he chose to do so anyways. And as a result, the reports say the bottom 2 was payback to show he's not invincible.

This feud is good for Astro. He needs to blast all of them away and forget about the results. There's little chance for him to win anyway so he should go out in glory.

Why can't they check what he's wearing before he goes on stage or take the headphones from him before he steps out on stage?

the whole x factor voting is rigged because the judges can always pick their favorites. It just gives fans the feeling they get to choose who wins.

A little late to the action here....

Like others have already mentioned: very disappointed with Astro's poor attitude when tested. Granted, the kid has been so good to the point where you forget that he's only 14-years-old. Well, there's your reminder. He would be wise to not act like that again since we all heard what Simon whispered to L.A. - "I'm very tempted [to vote him off]".

I wasn't sorry to see Stacy go. I felt bad that she looked so devastated, but at the end of the day her act had worn thin. She oversang everything and was a bit of a one trick pony. Great story...but time to move on.

My updated power rankings (with some big changes):

    1) Josh - Easily the best and most authentic "rock week" performance
    2) Astro - Too good to not move him up in the rankings
    3) Melanie - Best singer in the competition but needs to avoid getting Pia Toscano-ed
    4) Drew - Much like Melanie - great but needs to show versatility
    5) Rachel - Ugh. Enough with the uptempo stuff where her voice gets buried in the background music
    6) Chris - His strong performances over the past two weeks are very underplayed
    7) Marcus - On the decline, IMO. Voice simply isn't as good as people first thought it was.
    8) Leroy - Judges were way too harsh with him. He needs to work on his appeal, but the timing was poor given that he just gave a relatively strong performance
    9) Lakoda Rayne - Cheesy and boring. Dixie Chick wannabe's.

I don't know why I'm watching this show. It is just overproduced crap and then a bunch of judges gassing their performer up.

I don't even recognize Rachel anymore.

Simon is obsessed with U2 and Justin Beiber, and half of his choices are for his own personal enjoyment, regardless of the performer.

Paula is really the only judge that tries to tailor songs and work with her performer.

Can they get more singers on the stage? I don't think they have enough.

I too have been a bit disillusioned by this show... the talent level just isn't what I expected.

I still stick with Rachel, Astro and Josh though... they actually have talent

It's not that they don't have talent, but it is the crappy songs, the crappy arrangements, crappy back up singers.

If the show would just let the contestants pick their songs and the arrangements, it would be so much better.

They have taken the soul out of Rachel. It's like they are sabotaging her or something.

Drew has by far gotten the best songs.

It's hard to watch this show anymore.

Well, the Over 30s separated themselves this week, honestly. Leroy was great and Josh was outstanding. Melanie and Rachel were very good.

Drew continues to fall down my list.

If I had to pick two to go home right now, it would easily be Chris and Lakoda Rayne.

OK, so finally watching X-Factor recording after missing it last night.

Rachel Crowe was great. Showed she can move a bit and the song had a great mix of tempo and vocal suiting her. She did the damn thing.

Marcus Canty was good...I guess. I dunno. I JUST heard the Boyz II Men version of "Mama" so I think my opinion is a bit skewed. The passion he put into his performance was impressive.

Melanie was awesome!!! The hot accent did it for me! The singing was great. The everything was great. She better not be leaving anytime soon.

Chris Rene remains out of his depth, but the choice to bring back Young Homie was a very smart one. He might have bought himself another week between that and the return to focus on his rehab. Simon pretty much agreed with this completely.

Lakoda Rayne sang pretty well and had impressive energy on the stage. They remain incredibly hot too. Awesomeness. Show has been great so far. Not a lackluster performance yet.

Man, even Leroy Bell was less boring than usual. The emotions that connected him to this performance really came through. Not the best performance of the night, but the best he's done so far. I don't know what LA was listening to.

Liked Astro's performance. Only reason I didn't completely love it was that I've never been fond of the "Show Me What You Got" instrumental. The lyrics were on point, as usual, and the way he addressed his breakdown last week was admirable. Still think it's gonna be hard for him to stick around, but I hope he does.

Drew came with the same style she does every week, but this girl may have a leg up on everyone because every week she perfects it a little more. LA doesn't understand it, but I think I get it. This is who she is, and she's going to ride or die with it. Just like Astro. Man, Simon was f--king pissed at LA. lol

Damn, Josh Krajcik, that was straight up unfair. That voice AND playing the piano live onstage? Dude, you just killed it. You leveled the place. The judges obviously know it too.

Sucks that two have to got home after THIS week. Everyone was great. My Rankings:

    1. Josh
    2. Melanie
    3. Astro
    4. Drew
    5. Rachel
    6. Leroy
    7. Marcus
    8. Lakoda Rayne
    9. Chris Rene

Steve Jones is worse than a parody of a bad host. No wit, little charm and he says some really stupid things. He looks brutally unprepared every week.
