    who here saw this game?

Denver's offense looked horrible when they couldn't run the ball.
It seemed like everyone was watching for the 4th quarter cause the other quarters were horrible for the offense.

What was Rex Ryan thinking on that all out blitz? Tebow was going to throw?

Chuck gets away with it because he's a garbageman that kills you if you underestimate him.

You can't get away with that in the game of football. Not if you're a QB.

I'm with moes - I'd give it 2-3 games, tops, before the Broncos completely nosedive.

Chuck Hayes is a terrible comparison. Chuck is a fundamental stalwart. His footwork, positioning, and BBall IQ are sky high. His defensive instincts and rebounding are top notch. It's not just his "desire", he is a student of the game and works at all of the finer points (that aren't offense, at least) despite being small in stature, his hustle is just a small part of why he succeeds. Tebow is not limited by his physical stature, he's limited by his lack of passing skills or sheer unwillingness to learn and get better at certain parts of his job. He can hustle and yell and pray all he wants, but it's not going to increase his skills as a quarterback.

The reason he can't throw is because of your sins.

    moes,
you know there's a chance that they can overtake the Raiders.
nobody is doubting that Tebow is not a good qb, what they can't doubt is he's helping them win games.

also, the Broncos defense is good.

Agreed...I can respect him winning I just don't see it in the long term...part of it is the position as its not a tradition QB style, but Fox is doing the right thing as he's winning so why f with it...

Many of us saw it. The way the switch flipped on the last drive was bizarre.

On the TD, if the Jets had contained Tebow, he would have been sacked and the FG attempt would have been longer. But someone on the outside went brain-dead.

Believe me, I don't necessarily want to agree with moes, but the Broncos won't win the division over the Raiders. Tebow will flame out sometime during the last 6 games and, unfortunately, moes won't have to retire from CF. ;)

I'm gonna be paying close attention over the next 2-3 weeks.

I just agreed with moes' prediction that Tebow and the Broncos will get exposed and crash somewhere around that point. I'm also very curious to see Tyler Palko, somebody I watched play every game in college, does against New England and Pittsburgh.

THE QUEST FOR WORST QB IN THE DIVISION CONTINUES!!!

...and, no, Carson Palmer. That wasn't a dare.

Has it been determined for a fact that he is unwilling to learn and get better at certain parts of his job?

Its just a matter of time. He wont keep winning. Pretty soon he'll just be another loser.

I think it's almost at the tipping point where if he keeps winning, you'd have to admit there's something "intangible" about him that conventional wisdom cannot explain. Because simple luck and fluky results just can't keep happening over and over.

Anyway, I also believe the Broncos will either come down to earth, or people start recognizing their defensive talents. But it's so fun right now to see Tebow win simply because of his background.

I haven't seen anything change in his game since he was in college.

So, he's either unable or unwilling. Take your pick.

I disagree, I think both players have excellent instincts (or Sports IQ). While Tebow may not be good at passing fundamentals, Chuck is not good at shooting fundamentals. I think they are both students of the game. Why do you think Tebow is unwilling to learn? I think he is athletic enough to improve his game. Hayes was.

Rex Grossman (Chicago days) and Vince Young set the bar pretty high in recent years for terrible quaterbacks that "just win." Tebow looking to raise (or lower) that bar to new levels. Nice to see the Jets embarrassed!

Chuck Hayes plays the role of a defensive power forward/center. His primary task is not scoring. And if it was, he would lose his job.

Tim Tebow plays the role of a quarterback. His primary task is throwing the ball. He cannot do that, and he will lose his job.

In basketball, if you cannot score, that role can be assigned to someone else. In football, if you cannot pass the ball, that role cannot be assigned to someone else.

You think Tebow is going to fail because his passing skills won't improve; I say they will improve. You say he will fail, I say he is going to succeed. This one is easy; wait and see.

Vince Young had a top 5 QB rating when he got hurt last year, and his rating consistently improved each of his years starting. His problem was that he got injured a lot and threw incredibly bizarre fits all the time. He wasn't a great QB, but also not a bad QB when on the field and healthy.
