    YA man i was a pretty big fan of his as a player before all that drama, but after witnessing this first hand, i lost all respect for the guy, theres absolutely no need for you to act like that to your fans...

    You guys are getting angry about nothing, I'm sure there are other celebrity that's are just as douchy. Going up to anybody like that is a crapshoot, they can be really cool or they can be an ass.

    One time a band of loyal Yao fans followed Yao after a game, straight to his house, past the gates and everything. Forced Yao and his mum to take pictures with them so they can post it on a bbs site and be hailed as heroes.

    But what does Yao do? He doesn't even make an effort to smile. Not. One. Bit.

    I mean, the nerve he has... and because of that these heroes got crucified and labeled as public enemies.

    I don't think athletes are obligated to be nice. Augustine was probably laughing at the people wanting autographs and being rejected, not McGrady.

    He has one kid in Orlando that he had to go to court over, and he has another one in Houston which almost broke up his marriage.

    Some of us just know things that other layman like yourself do not.
