I found some Walking Dead Wiki-type site about the comic on the Internet...so I ended up reading ahead a little as the show was boring me. I'm excited about what's to come...if we ever get there. An infusion of some new characters is what we need and there seem to be some good ones coming later on. At least there are 12 episodes this season instead of six per the first season. Two more this year and then it picks up again in Feb. 2012.
I wouldn't have sacrificed a horse like that. I would have let them chase me into the barn, climbed up a ladder to the loft, and then pulled the ladder up. Someone hiding outside closes & locks the door as I climb out the way Glenn did.
Ever think that they weren't zombies when they were in the barn? Maybe Hershell had a couple of people living in the barn and one was infected.
Yeah, I asked my hubby where did that guy come from? Never seen him before. Well, if anything, the episode is better than previous episodes this season.
Has anyone else noticed that Andrea has lost weight? She looks a lot better than she did at the beginning of the show.
And she'll look ever better when a zombie chews her face off. The Zed won't bother with her brain, of course, because she doesn't have one. 1. Leave the farm. Now. 2. Let Andrea die (preferably in a violent manner). 3. Give Daryl his own show.
Well it's a shame that everybody hates Andrea, that's my only real big problem with the show, because she's one of the best characters in the comics. For one thing, the actress playing her is 40 and she's supposed to be in her mid 20s. You don't have to have read the comics to know there's only one thing that can come from having a barn full of zombies. Hopefully Andrea gets her chance to shine in the show like she does in the books when that scene happens. VS Spoiler
That came from a much later part of the comic. I don't remember anything happening with the barn and Andrea. Spoiler I just remember them opening it and some of Herschel's kids dying. Then they leave the farm. Carol is supposed to be much younger too.
I'm pretty sure that Andrea Spoiler kills a good number Zombies from the barn and it's the first time you see that she's got a good aim, plus prior to that moment, she was still messed up by her sisters death and was almost useless. Then they end up at the prison and That's when Andrea the sniper starts racking up the HEADSHOTs.
Haven't read the comics at all, but from the WD wiki there's a character called "The Governor" in there acts like a mini authoritarian king over his "town." The way the doctor has been potrayed recently, along with the living dead trapped in his barn, makes it seem like they are loosely basing it off the aforementioned comic character?
Might have used the spolier tag there, different person all together. Call me crazy but I want to see more ear necklaces!
Looks like amctv.com goofed a little bit today and released episode 6's post episode quiz. They took the link off their page but the idiots still left the link active. Link: (Warning.... episode spoilers will be learned by taking quiz) Spoiler http://www.amctv.com/shows/the-walking-dead/ultimate-fan-game/2502 Also a unconfirmed and supposed snapshot from a screener of episode 7 sent to a reviewer has supposedly hit the web today that shows the fate of the little girl Sophia.... Massive Spoiler Warning...Again this is unconfirmed do not click of you don't want to know. Again you have been warned: Spoiler
was watching talking dead and the director said that there are no zombie dogs, horses, etc. so the walkers only go for sweet, sweet human meat
They went after Rick's horse in the first episode. What the director probably meant was that animals don't reanimate once they die. On the plus side, Spoiler maybe they have the guts to kill off Carl too
