How do you figure? Jets are way down in almost every category. Hell, the Texans have 10 more SACKS than the Jets, the most SACKS in the AFC.
Can Tebow get better as a passer? People say he has a strong work ethic, does that mean that he'll work on his accuracy? Tebow doesn't have the arm strength to make all the throws, but he should still be doing much better with accuracy. You don't need arm strength to be accurate, just ask Chad Pennington.
gotta love the kid! it baffles me how poorly he throws a football. Seriously, dude is atheltic, went to a big-time program & was their starter for years...i can't understand it.
I just can't see how anyone who's watched a reasonable number of football games can come away from any of these performances and say, "Tim Tebow is a good NFL quarterback." I'm sorry. It's like watching a pitcher with a 4.70 ERA and terrible peripherals who happens to get a lot of run support and wins 20 games. Unless he significantly improves his reads and throwing accuracy, this success is an unsustainable mirage.
In the last 5 minutes of the game. Words cannot justify why we are so cursed to witness the first 55.
In his post game interview he was referring to everyone as sir. I can't think of another athlete that does that ha.
I could support this when they were running for almost 300 yards per game. But the running game AND passing game was non-existent tonight. And he still drove 95 yards with 5 minutes left to win the game. Don't get me wrong, he isn't a great passer, but he is doing a lot more to help his team win than a 5 ERA pitcher does. If Denver would have a mobile pocket he would probably do a bit better as a passer. But it doesn't really jive with a ball control offense since 3rd and 5 or 6 is still doable with a mobile QB whereas 3rd and 10 makes it much more difficult.
I agree. Fun story, but at the end of the day I think a QB has to be able to throw accurately. Call me crazy.
