Sorry, I'd rather have a younger player like Patterson. If you're interesting in anyone else for Patterson or any of your younger players let me know, I'll trade anyone but Kemba or Biyombo.
Tony Parker 13.5 Nolan Smith 21st pick (PG) for Kenyon Martin 16.5 Jordan Hamilton 24th pick (SG) Deal?
Sorry man, didn't mean to keep you hanging. Since I got Maynor, I don't need temple. But thanks for remembering. Anyone on my roster you interested in?
If anybody wants to accquire any veteran talent from me for picks or young players or cap relief, post me a trade offer before 10:00 EST (I believe that's 9:00 CST and 6 am GMT). I am especially interested in a young power forward or young center, but I'll also take a young SF.
Original team:Ray Felton, Wesley Matthews, Gerald Wallace, LaMarcus Aldridge, Marcus Camby; Patty Mills, Luke Babbit, Nolan Smith, Brandon Roy, Nic Batum, Greg Oden, Earl Barron, Armon Johnson - 64.72M Current Team: Tony Parker, Jason Terry, Wesley Matthews, Jeff Green, Brendan Haywood, Eric Maynor, Dejuan Blair, Danny Green, Corey Brewer, Tiago Splitter, Nick Collison - 52.7M Salary savings of 12M Salary Cap: 56.1 (UNDER by 3.4M) The Playoff contending level went up with the opportunity to have starter quality players dispell regular starters. Parker - more Playoff experience and leads team better Jason Terry -more playoff experience and will force post players to entertain penetration. Wesley - More offense/less defense than Wallace Green - Less dominant big, but solid PF for perimeter focused team Haywood - More minutes/less injury history than Camby or Oden Eric Maynor (can play along with Terry with playoff inexperence because Terry can bring up the ball) Blair-more playoff experience than Luke Babbit coming off of the bench Danny Green-playing overseas and producing like a starter Brewer can play Peremeter Defense Collison can backup either 4/5 position. And will play a full season. More Draft Picks 2-Current 1st, Boston's Current 1st 2-Current 2nd, Spurs' current 2nd 2-Future 1st, Boston's 2013 1st 1-Future 2nd Conclusion - not only does Portland pose difficulty for top ranked Western teams, but in the championship round, Portland's depth will keep starters fresh to win in a 7-game series.
Well I guess I'll do a write up. Started with the nuggets, Lawson, Afflalo, Chandler, Martin, Nene. Made the blockbuster trade to bring in Wade. Acquired Okafor for Afflalo and then swung him for Patterson. Ended up with PG Andre Miller / Goran Dragic SG Dwayne Wade / Jordan Hamilton SF Danilo Gallinari / Gary Forbes PF Patrick Patterson / Kenyon Martin / Udonis Haslem C Hasheem Thabeet / Kosta Koufos Martin, Miller, Koufos, Dragic and Thabeet's contracts will be off the books next year. That give me enormous cap space with a core of Wade, Gallinari and Patterson and hopefully Hamilton and Forbes will develop into solid role players. Obviously, the team as it is now is a playoff team, with Wade leading the show. But the real goal for the Nuggets is to make a major play in the 2012 free agent market. The two players the Nuggets will be targeting most aggressively will be Chris Paul and Dwight Howard. Dwayne has already proven the ability to bring in 2 superstars to his team, so that's what the Nuggets are counting on. The Nuggets will have the cap space to sign both Paul and Howard in 2012. And we will do it. Setting up this lineup: PG Paul / Dragic SG Wade / Hamilton SF Gallinari / Forbes PF Patterson / Haslem C Howard Book your championship tickets in Denver from 2012 - 2017, folks.
Did basically nothing to my team - PG Mike Conley Greivis Vasquez Ishmael Smith SG Tony Allen Xavier Henry SF Rudy Gay Shane Battier Sam Young PF Zach Randolph Darrell Arthur Leon Powe C Marc Gasol Hamed Haddadi Additions - Josh McBob and 1st round pick in 2012 Subtractions - OJ Mayo Trade Reason - OJ Mayo was being a locker room idiot last year and while it worked out, the team looked it could combust. The team needed some frontcourt depth and work so we took in Josh McRoberts who is still cheap. We also got the Pacers first round pick for an epic draft next year (this pick could EASILY be a lottery pick.) Overall Team - We must extend Marc Gasol which is project number 1. After that we can continue to build a young team with Z-Bo as the only real veteran in the core of the team. The team will have a great youth/experience balance as well. We will look to trade the first round pick of the Pacers, the Grizzlies first round pick, Battier's expiring contract and others. Possible trade option - STEVE NASH. 2 first round picks, Mike Conley and a pig man to get Steve Nash/CP3. So the Grizzlies will have two paths. Midseason trade for a star/superstar/backcourt depth. Or the use of picks in next years awesome draft to make this young team even better.
Anyone want to do any last minute trades? My lineup is in my sig. I think I'm pretty much set though. Willing to trade for bench improvement
Anyone want to do some last-minute trading? Samuel Dalmebert and John Salmons on the block but willing to trade anyone for the right price.
