Thanks for the insight. Very much appreciated. Repped. I've never done the Black Friday Madness thing before so this very well could be my first time. That 42" TV for $200 is simply too good to pass up. Heard there are some good deals on tablets too.
HHGregg's BF ad: http://www.hhgregg.com/content2/black_friday_ad The deals aren't quite as good as others (typical) but not a bad place to shop if you strike out on "the deal".
Most of HHGregg's deals you can pick up right now, but I like the blu-ray player for $40. They have a minimum of 40, so I can have that as a fall back.
FWIW, I've never seen video game bundles like that in the lines (not a doorbuster I guess). They are usually out in the alleyway. Since Target's comes with an extra game, I am hoping to score one there.
I'm getting conflicting reports, from people and online, about the Bestbuy PS3 deal. Does anyone know if you can order it online or do you have to be one of the first in line to get it?

2 Day. I ordered Monday Afternoon and it came yesterday. Liking it so far, pretty impressed with the picture quality. Sound is not ideal, but its about what you'd expect from stock.
So do you think its necessary for me to get there early? or can i just walk in the store and purchase it like a regular item?
I'd get there at 9pm. The problem is depending on how many they are going to carry. Of course, we will know more when they release the store maps on the 21st.
I would get there early. Take someone who really isn't planning to get a big item like a TV or laptop that you need to wait in line for. Have them save your spot in line while you walk around and get your xbox, movies, and all that stuff that doesn't require a line. Then just take you cart back to the line. Last year I was there thats what people were doing. Hope this helps.
ok last question, i only plan to by the 360, dont plan to buy any door busters, so arriving hours and hours early would be a waste?
sorry didnt see your post, im still confused by the ad though, cause it looks like the 360 w/ the kinnect goes on sale on thursday at 10 while the "gears of war" bundle looks like it goes on sale at midnight...? i dare not call walmart and ask http://bfads.net/Ad/Walmart-2011/Page2
That is exactly what they are doing. The Kinect Bundle is a 10pm, and the GOW3 Bundle is at midnight. The Kinect Bundle is a much better deal, since you can buy GOW3 for only $28.
THANKS!!! been looking for the answer to that question since i seen the ad! So since it goes on sale at ten then there is no reason to get there early? im clueless with this cause i have never participated in black friday. I don't know if i will be waiting outside or in, will the store even be open prior to ten?.. thanks much though!
I say be prepared to get there at 9pm to be there when they are likely to put the merchandise on the floor. Grab one of the XBox/Kinect Bundles & GOW3 and go wait in the checkout line (they won't check you out until 10pm). Tell the cashier you want to buy the XBox bundle first, and then use the gift card you get to pay for GOW3.
