If he can keep making throws like these in this video, we should be fine. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/8I_0g9-8xjA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
and Andersen did just as bad as Leinat's rookie season. So did Max Hall after him and John Skelton (sp?) after him and Kevin Kolb after him. The common ingredient is Ken Whisenhunt. I am willfully choosing to ignore Kurt Warner's time.
The play at 1:35 when he keeps the play alive by rolling left and hitting Graham in tight quarters gives me hope he can be effective. He throws a very catchable ball too.
nope as of right now he's the best in the division. hasselbeck is terrible 1)leinart 2)hasselbeck 3) locker 4)gabbert 5)mccown 6)yates 7)james casey 8)anyone who's thrown a football ever 9)orlovsky and painter
I know stats aren't everything, but aside from 2 rushing TD's, Shaub and Hasselbeck's numbers are nearly identical. On top of that, Hasselbeck doesn't have a run game or Owen Daniels or Arian Foster to throw to.
I'll be honest I just don't like him or his brother on tv. He has a solid o-line, and he does have a run game it just hasn't gotten going, not really many targets since britt went down. He's decent but he'll never win anything unless he's in a dilfer type situation. It took shaun alexander's incredible season for the seahawks to finally become relevant. I would rather have leinart based on the upside.
If anyone can get on board with not liking someone as reasoning for why they're not good its me. Right on brother.
