As I said in the other thread, I've had a lisfranc. My first thought was that he was done for season. That injury turns your foot into a pegleg.

How can they declare him out for the season already? If there's even a 0.1% chance he could play in the playoffs you save that roster spot.

Well that certainly puts a damper on a 7-3 season.

Can Leinart do this? And hold onto the ball upon landing....

So what are your thoughts on Schaub possibly returning to action after 8 or 9 weeks?

god damn man. out of all the seasons to be hit with tons of injuries, why this one?

sigh... it's Leinart or bust. at least we've got a couple of weeks for him to take a lot of snaps and hopefully lead us to the playoffs. we're not going anywhere once we get there, but I'll take getting there for now.

I am proud to announce this over twitter. I am coming out of retirement to help the Texans playoff push.

Oh Battier, what would the world be without you.

He has two weeks to get ready, the Jags don't pose a serious threat, so essentially he has 3 weeks and warm-up game before Atlanta. Put him out there for drills against our first string D, don't hold too much back, get him ready for real game NFL Ds again. Teams can't ignore our passing attack simply because we'll be trotting Daniels and Johnson out there. Texans still win at least 11 games this season.
