Compubox is completely useless. Anyone putting any stock in those numbers in a sport that uses a 10 point must system is not very smart.

Lederman's daughter is much better than he is at this point at determining the scoring of a fight.

No it's not. You can throw 1000 punches a round, but if only 20 land clearly and are effective, your going to lose to your opponent even if he only throws 30 punches and lands 21 and those 21 are more effective.

    Respect the judges? Wow.

Do you believe Pernell Whitaker really lost to Chavez? The judges thought so. The list goes on and on.

Stats? I'm not explaining that one again.

I don't think people hate Paquiao, his excuses are stupid but he seems like a likeable fellow. I think people hate his delusional fans, especially the ones who don't watch boxing, they just watch Manny.

What part of Compubox is useless? I think it's useful to know how many punches are thrown and the connect rate.

You can criticize it for not being round-to-round but, for this fight, I think the per round average can be applied. The judges ruled a Pacquiao victory and Compubox supports it. He just landed more shots, both jabs and power-punches. That Marquez substantially connected more is a myth. He just has a 2% advantage on Pacquiao on that, and he's the counter-puncher!

Roach admitted that it was a close fight between the two that's why he said he checked the compubox and he showed that print out posted here earlier which showed that Manny really was able to catch up in terms of points. Marquez stopped what he was doing effectively in the early rounds and that cost him the win. Too bad. I don't think Manny would fight him again.

    Stay classy Mexicans.

This is good for the boxing world. When Pac-Mayweather fight comes, latino and the black community boxing fans would buy PPV to see Pacman lose. Imagine how much money is that.... yeehah!

congrats to manny and cheers to sober marquez's fans.

Now there are people saying marquez was drinking a yellow drink in his corner when they are only suppose to have water. I believe its his urine though unless his new trainer who have a history of creating ped substance for athlete whip something up for jmm to drink to give him some sort advantage during the fight.

did Marquez do that on purpose.. who knows.. but hey might be a new boxing technique..

Anyways it was a disappointing fight in that there wasn't any real good exchanges by either boxer. The most exciting fight of the night was the under card fight. I think win or lose or draw or whatever if you are a pacquiao fan you should be disappointing. He was suppose to win this fight easily and not leave any doubt. Instead he has another close controversial fight.

Oh, wow. I guess he's trying to make up for that sucker-punch Pacquiao gave him while he was down in their first fight.
