LOL Jets! Worst defense in the NFL and Sanchez still can't throw worth anything.

Um the Patriots, the Steelers, the jets all would be favored against the Texans in the playoffs.

At the rate the Texans are going, I don't see it happening. Maybe the Steelers. The Texans would make life miserable for the Jets -- bad matchup all around. They've already shown they can out-physical the Steelers. They would shred this Patriots defense every which way possible. The only AFC team that I could see posing a major problem for Houston is Baltimore in a home game.

Dang, that remaining schedule for the Pats is creampuff. I could see them easily running the table and taking the #1 seed.

The texans haven't beaten a descent team yet. I'd wait before I buy my super bowl tickets.

We beat the Steelers and just put a beat down on a team that beat the Falcons and Saints.

The way we are beating opponents, this isn't a fluke.

Why are the Texans a bad matchup for the Jets?

    Explain.

Thanks for remembering that. Also, thanks for not considering the Titans to be a decent team. They aren't.

A 41-7 win isn't convincing. We should have won by at least 50.

Yeah the titans are a developing team. We have good pieces but I don't see us really contending for a playoff spot this year.

Mark Sanchez is mistake prone, and the Texans are good at forcing mistakes on defense. And the offense has enough variety to put pressure on the Jets D; they can legitimately win a game with a pass focused offense (if AJ is healthy) and with a run focused offense. There aren't many teams that can do that.

The Texans D would dominate the Jets offense. Their running game is so-so even against mediocre fronts. Mark Sanchez isn't going to be giving the LBs and DBs much to think about. Their defense will surely throw all kinds of blitzes against Matt Schaub to try to rattle him -- that's their best hope, but they'll get punished in the run game, and it has been shown that if you can put out more than one reliable receiving threat, you can beat them over the air. Tonight for example, all the Patriots did was to run a spread offense all night long and force the Jets into nickel formations, something the Texans will be well equipped to do with AJ80 back. The Texans also have the luxury of being able to disguise 5-wide sets as power run plays with play action thanks to James Casey at FB.

Just hypothetical, but if Pats and Texans win out to tie at 13-3, I think Texans get the tie breaker, since they would have no divisional losses. Most tie breakers should go to the Texans, losses are either out of division or out of conference, and so far they're winning the point differential battle.

Dungy gave the Texans some love and talked about how complete we are.

Not if we run the table first.
