They DID show the Guida/Bendo fight on the FOX broadcast, the broadcast I watched, anyways. I also watched their fight on facebook, then I switched to the FOX show, and they repeated the fight, prior to the main event. I guess your version of the FOX broadcast didn't show it, which sucks.
i didn't catch the guida fight the foxsports.com broadcast stopped at 7cst, i saw cops on tvguide listings for the 8cst block dunno wtf happened... i didn't care enough to reactivate my facebook for the fight... guess i should have
i do, and it was a foreshadow to the cain v junior fight a fat mexican got knocked out during a segment no racial hombre
I don't think the fight ended the UFC or anything...at least people know it is a sport and sometimes...games are boring...sometimes #1 vs the #2 isn't very exciting... The next fight needs to be good though. Put in Silva or Jon Jones. Even if these guys win they do it with a lot of flair and excitement.
I have watched several of Junior's fights. I expected the knockout, and he won't be a one fight champion. He will have several successful defenses. He is the best I have ever seen, amazing striker.
Heavyweight? Anderson Silva is the best I've ever seen followed by GSP (although his fights aren't as exciting) JDS gonna need a few title defenses though. I don't know if he can beat Overeem but if Brock beats Overeem JDS is just going to knock him out.
Nice call. Also, that was an amazing fight from Henderson and Guida. I lost money betting against Guida early on, and used to hate the guy, but he has won me over big time. Guida has amazing heart and passion for the sport and is such a great symbol of what's good in MMA. He should be proud of his fight, but he's overwhelmed with emotion and cries after the fight...I really felt for him. http://www.ufc.com/media/FOX1-POST-GUIDA And saying that is a lot for me because I'm actually a Ben Henderson fan and think this guy has all the tools to be champion. And he'll have to face another Lionheart in Edgar. Man, that's going to be a great fight too.
why do people insist on calling him Mexican? He was born in the US, he went to school in the US (Arizona State), he has never lived in Mexico as far as I know. He is American. I am of Polish decent and never once have I considered myself Polish.
