That would seriously be the best bowl game imo. If this happened I would buy a UH shirt and get **** drunk during the game. I'd have to have a piss bowl as the entertainment value would be just too high. That alone would be awesome to see my wife scream as I popped a beer while peeing in a bowl, right on the couch. Just gotta hope I don't have a two streamer. BTW- Major props Coogs! The only other game this year I was so happy to see was Tech bet OU. Seeing the gutsy as hell 2 point conversion, that crap pass interference call and then the missed kick for Karma, awesome!!! In no way am I a TCU fan, so the other was wondering why I was so hyped.
I really don't think this matters much anymore if UH wins out. They HAVE to be in a BCS bowl. The travel aspect will hurt their chances, but damn I wanna see this offense against a BCS rounded team. Would be awesome!
Boise doesn't matter - to be guaranteed an invite, you have to win your conference. Unless TCU drops its last two games, Boise can't win the conference anymore.
And for what it's worth to all of the other Texas grads/Shirt fans, UH would beat Texas' ass. Easily. UH would destroy Missouri and we scored 5 points vs. Mizz. It's not even a question anymore. Houston is the best College Football team in Texas right now.
I think it would depend on health. If Texas' running backs are healthy, we run the Kansas/Tech offense - just run every down. Neither team would be able to stop the other, so it would be a close game.
UCF tied it at the buzzer.. are you kidding me edit: nvm, they went for two and FAILED... wow lots of that going on today
I told everybody after our game in Ruston that they were going to walk away with the WAC, and that's what it looks like is going to happen. Look at who they've lost to and how close it's been. http://espn.go.com/college-football/team/_/id/2348/louisiana-tech-bulldogs
Don't forget about Nevada - they get LT at home, and their only losses are to top 10 Oregon and Boise, along with a 1pt loss @ Texas Tech prior to their recent implosion. They are currently undefeated in the WAC.
Yea i'd like to go to the next game. Right about now UH could really use a bigger stadium. They could sell 50,000 easy for this and the title game. The CUSA title game falls on the same weekend as a Texans home game, it would seem smart to want to play it at reliant if possible.
I'd put the odds at a Coogs loss in the last three games at 60+%. They're due to "Coog it" the real question is where will Sumlin go next year? He knows that with Keenum gone, so too will go the offense
Charlie Pallilo had a long segment on describing the scenarios for UH to get a BCS bid.. I wish I remembered the details better, but mostly it was about filling the Top14 with teams from Conferences that will already have two teams in the BCS, like, UH wants ARK in the top 14 to take a spot since ALA and LSU will be the only SEC teams the BCS can take (two from a conference max). That way the top teams are eliminated from the invite list and UH moves up in to the "well, I guess we have to, it's the rules" range.
none of that matters anymore now that BSU has lost. If UH wins out they get a bcs bowl. Its that simple.
