I'm rooting for dos santos. Love the way he fights. Santos will win unless Cain Velasquez manages to take him down and lay n pray the entire fight. Cains striking, standup isnt as good as his last two wins indicate as Lesnar and Noguiera are far from great standup strikers. Versus Kongo and Rothwell two standup fighters Velasquez was rocked multiple time and relied exclusively on his main strength which was take down and gnpound to win. IF Santos can keep the fight standing and avoid being on his back the majority of the fight, hes gonna knock out Velasquez.
think so...could be kind of risky. rome had white on his show this week, asked him if he thinks its risky doing so in case this fight happens to end in the first 30 seconds. white just said he thinks it wont matter...i'd disagree. i think you want this fight to last quite a while. allow people to get more of a feel for it. it ends in 30 seconds, the casual audience you're trying to get, goes pff its boxing 2.0, *click*
Everyone I have talked to saw the fight online than later on the FOX broadcast. JDS v Cain is right now, btw.
