p*rn Legend Sasha Grey Reads to 1st Graders, School Attempts Cover-Up

p*rn legend Sasha Grey -- winner of the 2010 AVN award for best **** sex scene -- was invited to read books to 1st graders at an L.A.-area elementary school last week ... but the school tried to cover it all up ... after parents pitched a fit.

TMZ has obtained photos of Sasha reading children's books at Emerson Elementary School in Compton on November 2nd ... participating in the Read Across America program. Grey, who hasn't done p*rn in 2 years, may have been invited because she's mainstream now, with credits which include "Entourage."

Sasha tweeted about the experience -- calling the students the "sweetest" ever. However, not everyone saw it that way ... some angry parents complained to the PTA -- who then contacted the school's principal ... but there's one problem.

A rep for the school district is flatly denying Sasha was ever inside one of its classrooms -- telling TMZ, "We have several celebrities who read to our students each year. The actress you have indicated [Sasha] was not present."

Clearly, the photos we obtained show otherwise.

good to see parents fight to make their kids judgmental at an early age. she was in a legal industry, and she is no longer in it anymore to boot. and if 1st graders know who she was, whether from Entourage or p*rn, her reading kid's books to kids is the least of the problems that their parents have on their hands.

you have to be kidding, right? I'm guessing they didn't discuss it with their 1st graders, so I don't see how they are making them judgmental. I guess you'd be ok with Ron Jeremy reading to your daughter, too? It's doesn't appear as though she was just "volunteering" as a parent. They themselves said they have several celebrities read to kids yearly.

Maybe it's less harmful than the shock value of the story implies, but I'm pretty sure this was a bad judgement call no matter how you slice it.

Funny, the way the story reads, it's like they became aware after she tweeted about it. All that, but they are following her feed? heheh.

you realize that the actual reason you are using Ron Jeremy as an example is because he's fat and weird-looking, right? that's why you used his name instead of peter north or another famous male p*rn star. judgment and superficiality piled upon one another.

and yes, i'd have no problem if he read childrens books to my daughter. she wouldn't know who he is anyway, and as long as he's not adding profanity or pile-driving her holes into oblivion, or teaching her what he does for a living, it seems harmless to me. he isn't a criminal.

would you let scarlett johanssen or other main stream actresses who have taken their clothes off and f'd on film read childrens books to your kids? why? oh, because you aren't going to flip on their sex scenes either for your kids to watch the second they get home from school.

Would've been better if she had written children books with pictures ,autographed, and donated them to the 1st graders instead

Or maybe CrazyDave, like me, just isn't overly familiar with as many famous male p*rn stars as you are.....

On a more serious note, I'm not sure how many of you have been to an elementary school lately, but half the teachers look like p*rn stars anyway.

    TILF's galore, baby. It's a beautiful thing.

Maybe some of those parents should go in an read books to the class instead of whining about it when someone else volunteers their time.

Yeah... this. Maybe I'm just a crazy liberal, but who really cares if someone does p*rn? It's a job like any other job. If they want to do some other job/event involving kids, then fine. One thing has nothing to do with the other.

I'm a teacher, and I don't see it as a huge problem, considering the age of the students and the overall intention.

I have had a total of 2 parents come into my classroom this year to volunteer. I agree with the poster that suggested that those complaining should man/woman up and get involved.

She came in to read books to kids. Period.

I see no harm in it, but it seems like a bad judgement call. I agree about the parents reading to their kids as DD said as well, but they are bringing in these celebrities because of their recognition on some level.

It isn't a conservative opinion, as much as a PR opinion. It's bad enough they are denying it happened. If you knew you'd feel that way if people found out, who's the genius in charge of making it happen?

Now, if it turns out she's related to one of the kids or it's her neighborhood and she was just volunteering or something of that nature, then that's obviously different, but if they brought her in as a celebrity reader and now won't even admit she was there, I think my point makes itself to an extent.
