I'm sure it will all end up explained in court, in great detail.

If it does, and McQuery explains it , like he didn't know what to do.... I expect jail time ...Which pretty much means, he'll get probation and community service!!!

If he says he was worried about his job and that caused him to not do anything after he witnessed a 10 year old being raped....... that's even worse. No morality scumbag.

As for Sandusky, he's really lucky a tucked-tail lapdog type person witnessed him raping a 10 year old in the shower instead of a grown man.

How is that worse than somebody witnessing it and not intervening despite not facing any kind of professional or personal scrutiny, pressure, blackmail, etc? That makes no sense.

I have a terrible feeling that this guy has been involved in a very sordid world of locker room abuse since he himself was a youngster.

I also wonder if he made attempts to put the moves on anyone older than high school age or if he is just a classic pedo predator

Who the f'ck said anything about not talking to Sandusky being the loyal manly thing to do? Don't try to insinuate stuff.

Where the f'ck did I say I didn't understand any of the victims "dilemma's" with regards to reporting the incidents? I didn't write about it because that's implied to any one with an ounce of sense that discusses the case.

I never specifically wrote that I understood his dilemma but if that's what you're fishing out of it then yes, I do understand his dilemma. That in no way indicates approval of his actions. It's pretty simple. You can understand the thought process of an individual but that doesn't mean you condone it.

I'm convinced there are a minority that would have done the same thing and then there's the majority that would have (1) fought Sandusky there and then (2) Gone to not just Paterno but also to the police (3) Fought Sandusky when he came back on campus to the closed practice with another young boy in 2007.

I'd recommend you not make assumptions as to what I would do as I've already stated many times on here what my actions would have been.

Because that means he put himself and his job above protecting innocent children that he knew 100% certain was being raped right in front of him.

He choices: Help 10 year old boy being raped right in front of him < protect my personal self interests. He chose the p***y scumbag route.

Yeah, and in the case of a total stranger ignoring it, it would mean he put a couple minutes of his time above protecting innocent children.

I don't now the motives and or capabilities of the strangers in your thought experiment. Maybe the total stranger is blind. Maybe they are mentally handicapped. ;)

What I do know is that guy did nothing and it angers me. I would pay $100 to head or gut him.

Dude absolutely. If I were a friend of McQueary, I can honestly say I would go to his house and punch him in the gut for what he failed to do. I'd be ashamed to know anyone that wouldn't do the ethical thing in that situation. As I mentioned, I can understand the dilemma he may have been faced with but I cannot condone it and I would beat him down for that.

    http://espn.go.com/espn/otl/story/_...rotection-reporting-sandusky-alleged-incident

    Coach may have whistle-blower status
McQueary's position at time of alleged incident may protect his job with Penn State

They're treating Paterno differently from McQueary, as they should.

    Taking questions

The descision on McQueary was made by athetic director and president.

McQueary's administrative leave is indefinite. The leave is with pay but subject to further determination.

It became clear that McQueary could not continue iunder these circumstances

On firing McQueary - there are complexities that he does not want to go into

"Some induviduals were afarain to make known what they had seen"

Planning on playing the next three games. not fair to student athetes to cancel
"Will use games as vehicle" to raise attention on issue of child abuse.

"I hope and I believe that we will see the best of our students tomorrow."

"Much of the world will be looking at us tomorrow."

Paterno is "as welcome to attend the game as any other member of the public would be."
