The editing is really poor and it bugs me so much. The actor who plays Shane overacts! He just stares and try to look conflicted all the times. It's not working. I liked him better in The Pacific.
I thought Shane's acting in that one scene when he was Bullsh!tting about Otis death at the ceremony was pretty badass.. Then cues the opening credits... It might not be Breaking Bad great but I still enjoy this show for what it is...
I'm thinking the weekly ratings start dropping if they haven't already. Breaking Bad was in it's 4th season before it slowed down to the snail's pace we're looking at now in Walking Dead. Like someone said, the events from this episode took only 4 pages in the comic. 5 minute speech where Rick gives Carl his hat? 2 frames max in the comic.

Also, if you look at the comments, most of everyone hear is dogging the show. Its just bad comments after bad comments, which people are more inclined to voice their opinion if it's bad. I'm only watching this show on replay now. At least that way, I can skip through the crap.
in 4 episodes I have quickly gone from somewhere in between a "cheerleading apologist for every critique" and a "promising to not watch anymore episodes while still tuning in zombie obsessed nerd" maybe 6 episodes per season is the right formula for a show like this based on a very popular comic book. episodes 2 and 4 were incredibly lacking and full of bad acting. this has been established as one of the main critiques. for me, there's just no suspense like in every episode of season 1 is there any way for the fans to demand Daranbont's return and actually make a difference like the ubernerds of Firefox/Serenity lore?
I take great issue with the cross-bucks on the barn doors. Angles are off. Darabount would have never stood for that.
Yea I think six episodes is the best best formula for longterm success. Or get million dollar actors.....which ain't happening.
This is hilarious. It's only been a few years since Prison Break, but she looks so homely now. Wearing mom jeans and just straight trailer park. I think this means she's a great actress.
I hate that "I want a gun" b*#% for shooting daryll and I'm tired of her always complaining about guns. She needs to go.
