You should move on to the relative social impact of smashing a storefront versus losing $560 million dollars in an over-leveraged
hedge fund. If they risked private money and someone else took them in a deal, that's one thing, but these guys seem to have just stashed it away, like they set the whole thing up to either score huge (40-1 leverage) or hide the stash with bankruptcy.

(And who names anything M. F. ? Is that not the Ellen Barkin international code for Muther Fuging?)

    (Ellen Barkin....best tweets ever)

tallanver and basso - you've lost - go home now.

Your feeble attempt to discredit this movement is just that, feeble. Like an old man dying alone, your attempts are useless.

this thing is just the beginning. This is not the tea party - you are right. This is real and big. It is a lot more people and a lot more support - it is not some radical crazy neo-con supported group.

You can flame and discredit to your hearts content. But every week it just keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger

What you have to come to terms with...is why? Go home, think about it. Maybe you can realize that you too should be supporting this as the people are fighting for your rights and prosperity as well.

Or maybe it's not, maybe it's the CB radio craze of 2011.

Maybe corporate money already won the culture war of 1984.

Everyone else is right. You are wrong, my statements aren't incorrect. You keep trying to twist things away from facts and into the narrative you wish were accurate.

    I'm done with you.

I apologize to everyone else for the web space it wasted trying to talk sense to tallanvor.

i think there is a genuine disenfranchisement that has been building for the 30 years. This is far bigger than the collapse. It runs much deeper.

The inequality gap has been growing for decades, not a few years. If that trend doesn't change, then hold onto your seats.

Occupy Wallstreet may fizzle out - but something bigger will then just replace it. It's explosive. We should all be thankful this is a peaceful movement.

And I know, free information will win eventually, I just don't know if the money is so strong now that they can hold the people at bay for 50 more years or even run The Matrix indefinitely.

Ya just don't know how long the process will take. It seems it's getting faster everyday. If there were say, a strong Facebook reaction or Twitter trend to a 'issue' commercial by the Clean Coal PAC where the BS was exposed and generally seen through, then that could defeat big money spending a huge amount on a clean coal campaign.

    People V. Money.

    Let's get ready to rumble!

But it beats the pants off of knife fights with Pinkerton's.

The OWS people are truly sad. These people need to learn that you get what you EARN in life. If they don't like their situation then they should do something about it and make something of themselves. They need to stop crying about what other people have and actually go out and WORK. We live in the greatest nation on the planet where a person can make something of themselves. All of those people crying for socialism are just too LAZY to earn a living. They want someone else to pay their way in life. It is truly sad!!!!!

You EARN freedom by exercising it. People WORKing together is what makes America great. To make blanket declarative statements about groups of people is intellectually LAZY.
