There were no rioting protesters. So you are off base there. They showed witnesses in the video talking about the car running over the people. They weren't rioting either. The deputy police chief who wasn't there and isn't a witness is the one who said the car couldn't have avoided running the people over. The witnesses on the scene said otherwise. I've seen the videos of the police abuse on protesters so their word isn't exactly the most reliable. The driver of the car never even stopped to help the victims.
This is the post where you said the guy was standing in the street. If he was standing in the street and the car wasn't stopped then it's the driver's fault. The driver of the car only stopped after the OWS stopped him and got the cop involved. The driver never once even checked on the people he ran over. Quit sticking up for the guy.
